Unity was settled in 1782 and incorporated in 1804. Included here are transcriptions of all of the vital records recorded in the town prior to 1892, as well as the Federal census records. Betsy Mosher's meticulous transcriptions of Maine vital records are well known by now. This is one of her newest, continuing her herculean efforts which have added so much to Maine genealogists' sources.
