These batteries last less than half as long as brand name ones.
Noam Eitan
We were using these batteries for a one time use in our wireless mic and would easily last 2-3 hours.

Fresh. Full capacity. Recently manufactured. Superb value.

All twelve of the batteries that I received were 9.7-9.8 volts each with a light load, a definitive indication of a fresh, 9V battery.

All twelve of the batteries that I received measured 100% capacity when tested with a high-tech, ZTS, Inc. (ztsinc dot com), premium quality battery tester that does a highly accurate, true capacity test using a ZTS patented, "pulse load" capacity testing technology. When a battery tests 100% capacity on this tester, then it really is 100% capacity.

All twelve were marked "02-2014", which means that they were manufactured in 02-2011 since this type of battery has a three year shelf life.

Caveats:

"Super Heavy Duty" batteries are NOT alkaline batteries. They are typically zinc chloride batteries, which is the case here.

Zinc chloride batteries have a shorter shelf life and about half the capacity of alkaline batteries, but they are much less expensive than alkaline batteries (which is exactly the point of purchasing this type of battery rather than alkaline). The idea is that they are to be used in light or light to medium current drain devices. In a medium or high current drain device, they will have a much shorter lifetime than an alkaline battery. The bottom line: if an alkaline battery lasts for "x" amount of time in your device, then a "super heavy duty" battery will last for about half that time or less.

An advantage of this type of battery is that they normally don't leak unless very deeply discharged whereas an alkaline battery will readily leak when barely discharged. Any battery will leak when discharged enough.

This looked like a pretty good deal -- about 15% cheaper than the usual batteries I buy, and Amazon wouldn't sell junk, right?

Wrong. Two of the first three batteries I opened were dead. So I shipped them back, and won't be ordering these anymore.

These batteries last less than half as long as brand name ones. In addition, they caused serious problems with my equipment. I used them with a Sonosax microphone preamp (a $1200 piece of equipment.) When they started to die I got a high pitched loud noise that ruined several recordings and the preamp clipped. This never happened with any other battery. They must be real junk to cause the preamp to clip when they die - as soon as I put a new pair, the noise disappeared, only to return after 2 hours, when the battery indicator showed "low" (they are supposed to last 5 hours on that preamp.) Dangerous junk is what they are.

I tried these batteries in 5 different smoke detectors. In less than a month, I had chirping all over the house. I replaced them with Members Mark batteries from Sam's Club and have been enjoying the silence for months.

This brand is AWFUL. If you put ANY of their products in a tester when you receive them they will be lucky to not be already in the replace zone.

Nearly half of these batteries leaked. The cleaning required after a few of these leaky batteries convinced me that they are just not a reasonable buy at any price.
