The phone company told me that a regular dsl filter would work on my alarm system for my home. This was not the case. This dsl alarm filter fit the phone connection on my alarm system perfectly. The regular dsl filter would not physically fit. After installing the filter, I tested the alarm system with the alarm company and it worked flawlessly.
