We have 3 or 4 sets of "My First" Uno cards made with different characters. Dora is a favorite to play. The best part is that the whole family still enjoys playing this simpler game of Uno even though it's not as complex as the original. My only (very small) complaint about this particular My First Uno set is that the background color where the numbers are displayed is patterned, so the numbers don't pop out as easily as they would on a solid colored background. I think a solid color would be better for little kids/ new readers.
Great game though. Good job, Uno.

A simple version of UNO for beginners. There are 36 cards that measure 3 X 4 1/2 inches. The deck includes numbers 1-7 plus draw 2 and wild cards. I take out the draw 2 and wild cards to begin with, then add them back in after the basic game is learned. If you do a search for My First UNO, you will find that this game comes in lots of different themes.

From the moment the box was opened, our grandson, his grandfather and I have spent many hours having a good time with UNO Dora .. As he is only almost four, we bend the rules quite a bit. He immediately understood the "UNO" part. Great fun!
