These do not taste 100% like M & Ms and that is because they have left the bad stuff out. None of the funky carcinogenic chemicals. Yes, they are more expensive, but their process and ingredients cost more to provide us with this "unjunked" product. It's a great alternative to chemical-laden candy. I know that I should be reaching for a piece of fruit when I want a treat, but who am I kidding? Sometimes you just want candy. It's nice to have a healthier option in the candy section.

So I love the Mars peanut M&M's, I mean who doesn't right? So I bought these cause they were on clearance at my local Walgreen's store. Instead of buying the Mars brand, I bought these. I must tell you. These are excellent and looking at the nutritional value compared to Mars, the calories and fat are the same, yet these have quite a bit of calcium and fiber for candy. Must be the nuts. So the only difference that I can tell, is that these are not as sweet as M&Ms. Usually when I eat any of the mass produced candy bars and chocolate candies, I get a slight burning sensation in my throat, I have contributed that to the corn syrup and HFCS. Cause it happens no matter what I eat with those ingredients. Which is also why I no longer eat Ghirardelli chocolate anymore, they add HFCS and corn syrup in more than half their items now. How cheap is that. So any ways, these are well worth the extra cost. They are much healthier for you than M&Ms too, and I guess the other varieties which I have not tried yet would be just as good also.

Although the price here on Amazon is a bit outrageous, If you have any sensitivities to the cheap ingredients found in traditional chocolate brand name candies, than these are worth every penny. Just eat sparingly. I will be. Of course I could always sell them also, yet I prefer eating my chocolate than selling it.

These do taste good as other reviewers said. These companies selling them are way overpriced. Completely nuts. You can buy the same size bag same oz for 4.99 at CVS. Get a CVS card and sometimes they will send 20 or 25% off by email.
