About the Author
Jerry Genesio was employed by Cutter Laboratories for almost 20 years. For most of that time he was an account executive in Cutter's Biologicals Division, which specialized in biological products derived from human blood through a process called fractionation. He has written and published numerous articles, including a natural history series focusing on zoonotic diseases. Jerry lives in Bridgton, Maine, and Wilmington, North Carolina.

Better Safe than Sorry, a Necessary Read for all Outdoor Enthusiasts,

As an avid camper and hiker, this was a book I knew I should read...but didn't really want to. Do I really want to know about all the hazards lurking in the wildlife I so enjoy watching? Not really. That said, it is far better to know what can harm you and how to avoid it then it is to play ostrich. Don't let the subject matter scare you off this one. It has great value for all outdoor enthusiasts.
