Book Description

“While we look not at the things which are seen,
but at the things which are not seen.”
-The Apostle Paul

What was the Apostle talking about?

Have you ever suspected that there’s more to your faith than just going to church, reading the Bible, and trying harder? Do you sense there’s an order and logic to the Christian faith, but feel like it eludes you? Do you believe that your faith should look more like that of the Apostles, yet have no idea why it doesn't?

If that’s the case, you’re not alone.

Unseen is the world as it should be; the underlying truth that is right in front of us, yet sits just out of sight of mortal eyes. It is the love, blessing, and wonder of a life that doesn’t just act like Christ, but actually is the life of Christ.

It is what Jesus lived, the Apostles knew, and the Church forgot.

Unseen is a book about connecting the dots, and making sense of a world and faith that more often than not, seem to make none.

If we knew why we and others do what we do, feel what we feel, and act how we act, wouldn’t the world make more sense? If we really understood the method by which God intended to change us, wouldn’t it make getting there a bit easier?

If these are the questions you’ve asked, the burdens you’ve borne, and the disappointments you’ve experienced, then relax; the answers are almost here.

All you have to do is turn the page.

About the Author

James describes most of his life with one word - desperate. But, within the mental, emotional, and physical pain which he suffered, God worked to bring a good that overcame.

After being born-again in college, James was visited by the Holy Spirit, but he didn't understand it  A local campus organization condemned his experience. He was not supposed to ask God for more than what they taught He would give. James just wanted peace. But, their teachings made God seem somewhat distance and uncaring, unless one could properly do His will.

Attending a Midwestern seminary proved fruitless. They taught doing the will of God. James wanted to know Who God is and would He end his suffering? Would He bless him?

Thus began years of attending churches, Bible studies, classes, and more. No one could answer his questions like "How do I come to know God, how do I come to trust Him, how do you get Him to work in my life for good?" The best anyone could say was, "Read the Bible, pray, and serve God and He will do whatever He wills to do." It seemed like God used love to woo people into His fold and then becames a tyrant who was impossible to please. But, James believed there had to be more.

In his early forties, after a terrible emotional crisis, God began opening James' eyes to understand the process by which He created mankind to live. For the first time, James began to understand how his heart works. God's will began to make sense, and it wasn't difficult or mysterious. God had not made understanding Him difficult, mankind had.

Literally, within hours James began feeling like a brand new person. The depression, anxiety, and other mental and emotional problems began to disappear.

After over two decades of wonderful change James, his son, and the other members of their family share this wonderful news with anyone who will listen. It is the Gospel. It is news that causes people to leap for joy.

I can simply say "wow" to the great insights that author James Campbell gave in this inspiring e- book Unseen. He did not lie when he shared that this book is for those that want to see the curtain that blocks the eternal from their view, who are tired and have despaired of life, those considering ending their lives, and others who have decided things will never change. It all began in the garden of Eden, he indicates, but due to the deception, The Lie he refers to, mankind has been tainted with uncertainty and wrong mindsets that, if dealt with, can radically turn a life from despair to promising hope. The author understands and shares candidly how, despite being saved at 19, he was unable to find the help he needed even in mental hospitals. It was not until he applied what you will read did things begin to change from the inside out.

To see the "unseen" spiritually will take your cooperation of honesty before God and the Holy Spirit working to reveal areas that the enemy has captivated your mindset and strongholds have gripped your thinking. As this book helps you partner with God to "see" what He sees hinderances will begin to fall and you will understand God's grace and love for you like never before while your faith becomes ignited.

A mistaken concept of "works" will be shared and you will be be able to rest in just "being" with God. Learn how our emotions react to self-talk and that this begins early in life determining the quality of it. If you have been to endless counseling with no avail give this book a solid try. As you grow to understand you are not alone in this journey of despair your heart will crave wholeness and you will begin to step out and do what in the past seemed pointless.

More About the Author

James Campbell grew up on a farm in South Florida and spent every free moment diving and skiing in Biscayne Bay. His family spent summers camping and hiking in almost every national park then in existence. It took about ten years to physically recover after a motorcycle accident while in high school. Finding freedom from the resulting mental and emotional trauma didn't come until his forties.

After graduating from the University of Florida with a degree in Religions, James attended seminary at ORU. Dissatisfied with his experience, he taught school for a year and then went into business.

In 1982 he married his business partner, Sandra, and they established one of the first branch office services in the country as well as a long distance phone service after the break up of AT&T. With two boys they moved to Colorado in 1993. James hated a year and a half working in corporate America and except for that brief time has always been self employed.

As the owner of an investment advisory firm James has seen over and over how Christians have been taught to confuse the possession of money and things with knowing God. People are taught to seek God for money when they would receive far more by seeking Him for Himself.

Except for a few articles in newspapers, UNSEEN is James' first venture into published writing. He and his son, Q, decided to write it because many people want more of God or are in terrible pain just like James was. Unfortunately, answers provided by the church are often stale and create a heavier barrier to knowing God.

His co-author and son, James Q,, graduated from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs and was an intern in the the Colorado Senate as well as the Leadership institute in Arlington, VA. James Q. has three years of professional experience writing news and opinion articles for a local newspaper.
