Playable Characters and Storyline Carl Carl Fredricksen is not your average hero. He's a retired balloon salesman, who is forced to leave the house he and his wife built together. But instead of moving into an old folks home, Carl takes action. He ties thousands of balloons to the roof, lifts the house into the air and sets off for South America, fulfilling the promise he made to his wife years before. However, Carl's plan is challenged by the discovery of a stowaway, the optimistic, overly eager Russell. Carl's journey tests more than his patience when the duo must survive the extreme weather, treacherous terrain, and strange inhabitants of a lost world - as well as each other. Russell Russell is an enthusiastic and persistent 8-year-old Junior Wilderness Explorer. Armed with a backpack laden with gear, he is ready for the wilderness. The problem is that he's never actually left the city. All his knowledge of the outdoors comes from books, and his sole camping experience was in his own living room. He's just one "Assisting the Elderly" badge shy of achieving his lifetime goal: Senior Wilderness Explorer. When he targets Carl Fredricksen as the elder he will assist, Russell ends up as an unwitting stowaway on Carl's porch when the house takes flight and finds himself on the true outdoor adventure he's been dreaming about. Kevin Named "Kevin" by Russell, this extremely rare, 13-foot-tall flightless bird is hidden from the world in its remote Paradise Falls habitat. Kevin is exceptionally fast and nimble despite its size. In fact, the massive bird often gets into some very curious and seemingly impossible positions. Very few know that this scientifically valuable creature exists, but Carl and Russell stumble upon the bird, which Russell names Kevin after he discovers they share a sweet tooth. Kevin and Russell bond instantly, and despite the bird's propensity to swallow Carl's walker, Kevin joins the jungle's most unlikely pack, along with Carl, Russell and Dug. Dug Dug is a lovable golden mutt living in the wilds of Paradise Falls as part of the dog pack searching for the rare, flightless bird. I like the game UP...the only problem I have is if I can only play for a little while I can't save to where I am at, it will only save at the beginning of the stage, which makes me have to start all over when I want to play again. Other than that it is a fun and easy game to play.

I bought this game for my 13 year old autistic boy. He is really enjoying it. It has a lot of challenges for him and he has been playing it since Christmas. And I play along with him helping him on some of the hard maneuvers. I think he will eventually master it. Hope it will give him enough challenge to hopefully get through the whole adventure, which I think it will. Now I will need to find another game when he is ready to move on.

people should own this game keep it and not return this game back to the store i thought that this game is awesome and it rocks it is so much fun and any kids will enjoy this game i have this game for playstation 2 and it is so fun i had this game at my house for 4 or 5 months and i haven't return it yet this game is a blast and i bet any kids might like this game i am i am not really that sure if they like a game that is challanging if they do then this is the game for them because it is challanging and fun and i like it i useally play it all the time because i think that this game is fun it sometimes makes me angry like on the river rapid part that part is really hard and tricky you have to watch and aviod crocodiles monkeys because they throw stuff at you while you are on a log so watch out for those monkeys if they hit you you will have to start at a check point i guess and there is like droping logs and falling log that fall and drop down from a waterfall and somewhat like that that is what's tricky about that part and and also hard part is trying to climb up a rope where there is a bunch of thornes around you you have to aviod them otherwise you will have to start at the begining again if you get near them touch them or hit them so be careful on that part the rest of the parts aren't that bad they are pretty much more easier then the climb up the rope part and the rapid part that's all i have to say about those parts the rest are very easy it is just the rope and the rapid part on that game that are pretty much hard and tricky so be careful and take your time on those parts because when i was on the rope part i almost made it but then i accidently hit the thornes and then i had to start back over again which not made me happy at all and oh yeah when you are also climbing the ropes watch out for the bats that fly there because if you hit them or if they hit you you have to start over again and the rolling log part is a little bit hard and tricky not that much though just to let you know you have to move carl or russell whoever is on the log and who is not lets say if carl was on the log and russell was not you have to move the log with russell and move carl while the log is moving you have to move carl around the roots or vines or whatever they are you have to move around them it is like a little bit of a maze not really when carl made it to the otherside it is russell's turn to get on the log and on the other side move russell around the vines and roots also and when either player like russell or carl go whichever one is second to cross the log also watch out for bats there also if they hit you or if you hit them they will knock you off the log and you will have to go to the beginning again and start over that's all there is to this game and when you are on ropes don't fall or you will have to start at the beginning again that's it to this game it is fun and tricky and hard at the same time anyways anyone who loves or likes challanging games then i would really consider this game to anyone i would recomend this game to anyone who loves or likes challanging games disney pixar up is the game to buy this game this game i love it i think that this game is so sweet awesome cool and it rocks you would to if you tried playing this game i thought that this game was worth my money and anyone who ever plays this game i hope that you have fun i know that i did have fun on this game while i was playing it so have fun with this game i hope that you purchase this game this game rocks at least that is what i think anyways
