UPPAbaby G-Lite and G-Luxe Stroller Rain Cover

I purchased this cover for my Chicco Liteway and it fits perfect!!!! I like that is has breathe holes in the sides.

The cover is compact and nice, but I gave it only 3 stars, because it's not big enough and it doesn't cover the back of the stroller. So during rain, I don't think you can recline fully the stroller, because there is chance that baby's head can get wet, since the cover doesn't go that far.

This cover is made with PVC plastic, which contains toxic chemicals. While it may be phthalate-free PVC, PVC plastic still needs some free-floating (in other words: can seep out of the plastic to baby) toxic chemical in order to remain supple. So, no matter that it's "phthalate-free" (a pointless buzz term used to placate parents in these safety-conscious times)...any flexible PVC ultimately contains toxins that can seep out and cause permanent harm to a baby.

My greatest complaint is that this information was not provided anywhere on this Amazon listing, allowing me--and anyone else who may be concerned about plastic toxicity--to make an informed decision. I had to open the package in order to read it on the information booklet contained within the package.

Buy this if you don't worry about such issues...but I wanted those parents who care about such issues to be forewarned about the PVC plastic in this product.

First of all I have to say I love Uppababy products. I own both a Vista and G-luxe and I have rarely had issues with them. Most of the problems were from 3rd party participants and UppaBaby CS has always been helpful which is why I continue to purchase their accessories/products. HOWEVER, I purchased this for our G-Luxe and the material/workmanship is horrible. Within a week the rain cover tore around the holes where you snap it in to the stroller at the bottom. I ordered it Dec 10 2011 and to day it's torn around all areas that have a velcro snap and the plastic has come undone in several places from the fabric lining. To pay another $25 for a replacement cover that will likely tear again in 30 days is just not worth it!! I am not careless with the cover either, I would take it off and fold it up nicely when it was not in use and it still disintegrated with normal wear and tear. I am going to look for a cheaper replacement. Uppababy should really come up with a more sturdy rain cover. Maybe it fits the G-lite better but at least for my stroller it just didn't hold up.

I use our uppababy to take out baby to daycare every day since the other strollers are too heavy to lug up and down multiple flights of stairs. Now that its cold and we've had some precipitation, I've had to pull out all the accessories - we use a bundleme and this rain cover. For the most part the cover is great - and like a previous reviewer, my baby likes the touch the inside and thinks the cover is fun. But although the front of him is completely shielded, the cover doesn't have a back flap at all so the back of the canopy gets wet and cold when it rains and I won't be able to recline him at all.

We live in the city and use our stroller every day. We use our rain cover probably 2-3 days per month. After just 7 months of use, our rain cover has completely fallen apart. It has ripped near the top velcro straps, and even the reinforced plastic rings at the bottom have come apart. I think the problem is that it fits the stroller much too tightly. We are always having to tug at it to fasten the bottom. I am going to look for something better, rather than buy another one of these.

I purchased this rain cover a few months ago and I think it's great. I have a Chicco liteway stroller and it fits perfectly. The only thing that I found that needs improvement would be the velcro tabs that hold the cover in place are a bit on the short side. It they were just a tad longer I would've given this product five stars. Otherwise, great rain cover. I would definitely recommend it.

This worked perfectly on our recent trip to Boston. It snowed and was in the 30s!!! Our daughter stayed warm and cozy inside AND she had fun touching it from the inside - I guess she thought it was some sort of game. I also highly recommend the JJ Cole stroller blanket with this.

After reading a lot of reviews, I decided for this stroller and I am very satisfied. We were looking for a light stroller for my 1 year 3 mo. old daughter to travel overseas. Because we were going to the beach and we live in Arizona, we wanted a nice canopy. The stroller delivers. It's light and easy to maneuver. The canopy is great. It reclines well. We could put her in the stroller and recline it, and she will sleep comfortably. Enough room (for a light stroller, of course) in the basket. I think it doesn't stand by itself anymore, though. We bought the bag for gate check-in, and that was a good purchase. Taking off the front wheels was easy. We also bought the rain cover and it was good, but it broke after a couple of uses. Anyway, customer service was great and they send a replacement soon after. I think it was bad luck. Overall, I think it's a great purchase.

Seems ok, but it is a big plastic that I know it will be a hassle to carry.
Also it seems as it is not easy to put over the stroller.
Should have been something thinner and more friendly to place.
