Do NOT buy these gloves
on November 30, 2012
Context: I purchased these gloves on Cyber Monday through a "lightning deal" that brought down the price to $37.50. I was looking for a pair of good looking gloves that fit me well, were warm, and were compatible with my phone's touch screen. I thought that these gloves would be perfect for that. I was wrong.
Review: When I first got the gloves I immediately noticed that they did not fit. I realize that there are different sizes but I know my glove size, and these gloves were only slightly loose. All of the fingers fit into their slots except for the pinky finger, and the thumb, which left about a quarter inch of space empty. This made the glove very unstable, and prone to sliding down my hand while it was at my side or through normal use. The cashmere also added to the gloves looseness because it had no grip on the inside of the glove and my hand what so ever. Also there is no way to tighten the wrist, and there is a huge slit cut into the gloves so you can get them on easier, but with no way to tighten it closed, it just adds to the gloves looseness/slipping. Just using the gloves normally is a very uncomfortable, unproductive experience; you can barely use you hands with out having to constantly readjust the gloves.
There is another huge problem with these gloves as well. THE BLACK DIE/COLORING COMES OFF ONTO YOU. I found out when I went to swat a fallen leaf off my face. I swatted the leaf away and then, hours later after I used the restroom, saw a huge black mark on my face. It looked like a bruise or something so I splashed some water on it and it vanished. I then checked the gloves and noticed that a piece of the palm was lighter in color where I swatted the leaf away. I then noticed black marks on my jeans, probably from when I resting my hands at my sides.
Bottom line, these gloves are terrible. They don't fit, they bleed color all over you, and they are uncomfortable. Spend your money elsewhere.
