This is a good "follow-up" LP to the "Urban Cowboy Original Soundtrack".,

This one may not contain as many songs as the "Original Soundtrack", but the songs it does contain, are all very good. Some are even better, than some of the songs on the "Original Soundtrack". I really liked the songs by the Charlie Daniels Band, Johnny Lee, and Mickey Gilley. I also really enjoyed "Cotton Eyed Joe", by the Bayou City Beats. I really enjoy Mickey's piano playing. As another reviewer mentioned, I wish the manufacturers, or whoever has the copyrights to this album, would release this great album on CD. I recently saw Mickey Gilley & his Urban Cowboy Band, on the 30th Anniversery Tour, of the Urban Cowboy Movie. The original movie "Urban Cowboy", was shown in theatres back in 1980. Mickey is recovering from an injury, but he is making a great comeback. I really enjoyed the show, and I really enjoy this album. Thanks!!!

This review is from: URBAN COWBOY II (ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK LP, 1980) (Vinyl)
I hope that they will release this album on CD. I enjoyed it as a kid but the album I have is scratched up. But over all it a good record, not as good as the first, but still good.
