These were a great price, but were not consistently accurate. They show a negative reading where it should read positive. I found an old review online of someone else who had this problem. The ReliOn brand I get from Walmart are better, a little more expensive. I did compare the two several different times.

These urinalysis strips repeatedly gave a negative result, even though I knew I was in ketosis. As a test I used Ketostix and these test strips at the same time. The Ketostix indicated ketone, these strips didn't. I tossed them in the garbage. I guess you get what you pay for . . . oh well!

I've recently put myself on a strict low carb plan for a few weeks and after several days, I couldn't figure out why the weight wasn't coming off. Thanks to these easy to use strips, I was able to verify that I wasn't in ketosis yet. Once I was able to determine where the hidden carbs were coming from, VIOLA -- strip finally changed color! I love the convenience of these -- just place the strip in your urine stream for 1 second and wait 60 seconds -- no pee cup!

Some of the other reviewers noted that these "expire" quickly. I've only used this for a week so I have no idea whether they'll hold up for 3 months. Since these appear to be sensitive to exposure, I think they should've shipped the bottle with a sealed foil at the top. Who knows how long this particular bottle I was shipped has been around since it doesn't have a seal...

These are cheap and do the job for low carb diets (ie: measuring whether you are staying in ketosis). I purchased these earlier this year, and they worked well. I would have given them a 5 star review, except I went back about 3 months later to use them again, and found that the entire package of strips had turned gray, and were no longer responsive.

Although I kept them in my bathroom, they were tightly sealed in their container, and the temperatures didn't fluctuate significantly. I use commercial strips at work and have never had something like this happen before.

In general, for the price, these are still a good buy - with the caveat that if you go back to use them again later (re-induction), you may need to replace them.

I ordered these because the price was the best but then I found out why. They do not work! I had to purchase a different brand (Bayer) to test the same cup of urine with one strip from each brand just to find out what I had already suspected. I knew I was in ketosis and these strips kept saying I wasn't, so after purchasing the Bayer brand I confirmed that I was in ketosis, not just a slight tinge of pink but purple. These strips are so completely unreliable, they didn't even show a slight tinge of pink. I then tried to tell the company selling these on amazon that they were defective and I would like a refund but all they did was offer to send me another defective box! Spend a little more for a reliable brand, you'll be glad you did.

I would definitely buy these again. If you are looking for something to help you keep of with the alkalinity of your body these will definitely help you.

They did not come in a speedy fashion but not too late either; and althought it is what I needed, it wasn't like the ones illustrated. good price.

Product is excellent ecspecially for the price compared to the competitors who charge alot more for the same product basically.

Satisfied with time delivered..(received earlier than promised) They work within five-ten seconds and have had no problems with any of strips yet. great price for money.

I bought these as a way to measure the effectiveness of a Ketogenic diet. They seem to be spot on. The fewer carbs I ate, the faster I dropped body fat and the darker the indicator tab on the Keto strips.

There is one problem though. I have now bought these twice. The first time, after being on the shelf for a few months, when I went to used them again, all of the indicator tabs had turned grey. I am not sure why. I figured that I left the cap off of them an left them in my bathroom where I shower and that the moisture must have caused them to go bad. The second batch I bought, I was much more careful. I left them in my office with the cap on at all times where there are not heavy moisture and temperature fluctuations but the same thing happened after being on the shelf for only 60 days or so.

These do work and are about 1/4 of the price as in the local pharmacy but you might want to try keeping them in the freeze or something if you are not going to use them for a while. I don't know if it will change anything but its worth a shot.
