I had a problem with AutoPartsWarehouse in the past, they shipped a part I cancelled then expected me to pay for returning it and a restocking fee. Luckily I had saved all the email correspondence between me and their "customer service" department, because they lied to Amex (yes I had to dispute the charge to get my money back) and said I never contacted them to cancel the order, or to get an RMA, that sort of thing. After I sent Amex the emails between me and AutoPartsWarehouse "customer service" people, Amex sided with me and I finally recieved my credit. Fast forward almost a year later - I needed a radiator, I ordered it from AutoPartWarehouse, it arrives damaged. Looks like someone kicked the side in. I get a replacement sent, second one arrives, AGAIN, looks like someone kicked the side in. I contact them AGAIN, this time, they tell me they don't have a radiator for me, I'm told I'll get a refund........... WEEKS go by, still no credit back to my credit card. I emialed their RMA department, attach the FedEx return status (which shows the part to have arrived back to them), I get a response asking if I had returned it........ I had attached a screen shot of the returned status showing it had arrived to them from FedEx web site AND attached the downloaded status form showing it had arrived to them AND I'm still asked if I returned the part.

1.0 out of 5 stars Use Caution If Ordering With A Credit Card October 21, 2013
I placed an order with Auto Parts Warehouse for the first time and then, two days later, I started started getting fraudulent charges against the credit card I used. They were the only "new" people I have done business with. At first I thought it was coincidence. I sent an email to Auto Parts Warehouse asking them to look into the security of their server (has it been hacked) and do a quick check on the employees that have access to the secure data (are employees stealing credit cards). To my surprise, they never saw fit to respond to me. I hate to say it, but it seems that they are pretty sure they have a problem. They can't really reply back to me saying they found an employee stealing credit card information. That would open them up to some serious reproductions. So they just ignore my many requests for information. If you don't want to spend some quality time with your bank trying to get bogus charges removed, then your credit cards replaced, you defiantly do not want to do business with Auto Parts Warehouse. They have a major problem that they are hiding. Stuff happens. Shame they were not responsible enough to handle this in a professional manner.

1.0 out of 5 stars APW is a fraudulent scam site. STAY AWAY!!!! January 13, 2014
APW sent me the wrong tailgate lid supports, then charged me 20% re-stocking fee when I sent them back because they say it was my fault--BS--it was their fault.
Now, a month later, still no refund and once again it is my fault because I can't find the post office receipt.
Meanwhile I am out almost $200 not to mention the loss of sanity from dealing with their ESL customer "service".
This is the worst buying experience I have had online or off in many years.

STAY AWAY!!!!!

It is my opinion that this is a good website for buying parts IF.... you are able to complete your transaction with the computer rather than with a person. I had 3 transactions with APW. The first one, I bought 4 Lift Supports for my two Jeep Cherokees. I was in no hurry, selected the parts, filled in the computer form, and checked out, paying with a credit card. Everything worked fine.
Then a month or so later, I visited my mother-in-law and she had the same problem with her two Jeep Cherokees, so I tried to order 4 more Lift Supports, the problem being that they had to come by Next Day Air, because of my limited time. I had a different billing address from the shipping address. They shipped my merchandise to the billing address. I was able to reject the delivery with the shipper and APW agreed to refund my money. Then I reordered and carefully made sure the agent had the shipping and billing address correct. Then when I received my email confirming the order, somehow the billing city wound up in the shipping city address. I phoned and corrected it. I also gave them my cellphone number. Later when I went to check for a tracking number, I found an email asking me to phone because my shipping and billing address were different. I phoned, but by then it was too late to receive the next day shipping. So, I had to cancel that order as well, since it would arrive too late, I would be gone. When I checked my home voice mail, they had phoned my home phone instead of my cellphone.
My take is that their people are pretty much incompetent, but who ever programmed their website did it right.

Auto Parts Warehouse's system duplicated my order upon placement. Despite me calling and asking for the second order to be canceled within 15 minutes, they still shipped two orders and charged me for both the next day. I had to return the second order at my own cost. They would do nothing to help despite this being their mistake, ending up costing me more than $18 for shipping to and return shipping. This was a ridiculous error on their part that they did nothing to rectify.
