These are great jump ropes. The plastic segments add enough weight and inertia to help keep the rope twirling. The segments in the middle that hit the ground take a lot of abuse and break easier than I expected. These would be 5-star items if not for the relatively brittle links.

I've used this rope with young athletes during the course of promoting coordination and physical fitness. I've had no problems with the jump rope. It has proven to be durable so far while taking quite a lot of abuse. So far I've used it inside but it has held up fine.

This rope was for my toddler (3) but we found the 7 foot length too long so we found other games to play with it til he grows in. Very sturdy and bright colors made it fun for him to play with.

I ordered this jump rope because it was exactly like the ones we had at my elementary school (so I know the product works well). And I was looking for a simple, cheap jump rope to use in my fitness routine. As soon it came, I opened it and practiced with it. No problems. I read reviews where people said the plastic was cheap, but I have no problem with it. Unless you're using it like a speed rope and whipping it around so it hits the ground with major momentum and force, I don't see cracking/chipping plastic to be a problem. Great buy! Love it!

Perfect! Exactly what I wanted...just like the jump ropes found at the elementary schools. Great product, service & price!
