The 35" measurement is from the cases exterior end to end, not the interior compartment space.

I love US PeaceKeeper cases, sucks that they're made in Cheena. Good quality for Cheena though.

I got the 35" and it snugly fits my AR fully collapsed.
-OEM stock with buttpad (found here on amazon) adds about 1/4" to the AR. Buttpad for AR-15 6-Position Stock
-I also have a troy muzzle brake that might be a little bigger then the stock one.

I just received this item. For the price you can not beat it. This case is all you need for protection ,mobility and quick axcess. I bought it for my AR-15. I have plenty of room for all of my gadgets unlike some othe cases. Would recomend to any/everyone.

Great range case but I would'nt use it as a permanent case for your AR. I have seen other, more sturdy cases with more padding for about the same price or alittle more. I bought this cas because I have a DPMS Lo Pro with the 16" bull barrel and AP-4 collapsible stock. It's only 31 1/2" in collasped position so it fits this case perfectly. Overall not a bad case for the money. The reason I gave it 4 stars, instead of 5, is because I am unsure of the quality yet as I've only used it a couple months now.
