Maybe I am spoiled, I had been playing Crosswords DS(see my review) and thought that it was too easy. I was right and wrong. Right that it was easier to use and the puzzles are easier to solve. However wrong by buying this software because of the software problems in using this game.

The idea the you can focus on the clues like in Crosswords DS is not here in this software. on the possitive side, The puzzles are more of a challedge to solve. Nevertheless, it has a font is harder to write the answers in the block. There is not letting you know you have the right or wrong word, which is one factor Crosswords DS does. The hint factor of this software is not that great

It is playable, but you can not do the puzzles as fast as in Crosswords. One of the factors that is enjoyable is this has is a mini keyboard or writing the puzzle answers yourself. Another problem is the frames can not be expanded like on Crosswords DC, so everything is in a smaller font.

Maybe if the powers that be would incorporate between US Today crosswords and Crosswords DS on their next version , I think it would be a better game

I have read the reviews on this game(both of the listings) and a common theme seems to be that the control -- particularly the handwriting recognition -- is bad. I have solved several of the puzzles, and haven't experienced any problems. Other than mistaking V's as L's, a problem due to my sloppy handwriting, the control is great. The way you scroll through the clues is a bit on the odd side, but I quickly adapted to it. The puzzles seem to range from easy to moderate, although there may be harder ones down the road. Overall a great game. 5 stars

I am so not good at crossword puzzles so I found this game extremely difficult for me. But I let a friend use it and they whizzed right through it. So it is a great game just was not on my level.

Pros:
-You get the familiar crossword puzzles from USA Today. If you are a fan of that newspaper's puzzles, then that is the kind of questions and material you will get.

Cons:
-Interface is horrible. Definitely needs some improvement.
-The pad for handwriting recognition system is very small to write on.
-The QWERTY interface is also difficult to use. The font used are hard to recognize.

This is a very challenging crossword puzzle game and can be addictive. I recommend it to anyone who likes crosswords.

Came on time, but I still haven't had a chance to play. Shipping was quick and the product was in great condition. Would buy all my games from Amazon when I want new ones.
