A handy product
If you don't want to be plugging your cell phone into the wall all of the time but would prefer to be able to see its display while working (in my case typing), this desktop charger is wonderful. Another excellent feature is the battery drain: this allows you to take a NiCad or LithIon battery and completely drain it, and then the charger will automatically charge it...

stay away
the only worthwhile feature of this unit is the way it looks. the phone sits crooked in the unit, the lcd display is very confusing and low tech. the discharge funtionality did not work on the unit i ordered.

If you don't want to be plugging your cell phone into the wall all of the time but would prefer to be able to see its display while working (in my case typing), this desktop charger is wonderful. Another excellent feature is the battery drain: this allows you to take a NiCad or LithIon battery and completely drain it, and then the charger will automatically charge it back up. This is necessary to do at least 2 or 3 times in the life of a Nokia LithIon battery to prolong life.
