5.0 out of 5 stars a joy for both "office" and "clue" fans
Clue: The Office follows the same trend as most Clue games: it's a "whodunit" with the aim being to use process of elimination to determine which suspect, weapon, and location is the answer to the mystery. It plays exactly the same way as the most recent edition of Clue: there are nine weapons instead of the traditional six, and there is a deck of "Intrigue" style cards...

3.0 out of 5 stars missing dice
Big problem: my daughter opened this Office Clue game on Christmas morning and we then discovered that there were no dice included. Disappointed! How can you help us with this? Thank you.

5.0 out of 5 stars a joy for both "office" and "clue" fans, November 16, 2009

Clue: The Office follows the same trend as most Clue games: it's a "whodunit" with the aim being to use process of elimination to determine which suspect, weapon, and location is the answer to the mystery. It plays exactly the same way as the most recent edition of Clue: there are nine weapons instead of the traditional six, and there is a deck of "Intrigue" style cards that allow players to somewhat bend the traditional rules (take another turn, roll the dice twice, peek at someone else's cards).

The graphical details of the game are faithful to The Office and highly entertaining. The weapons include the George Foreman grill, the World's Best Boss coffee mug, and a Dundee statuette; Angela's poster of babies playing saxophones is up on the wall in the Accounting room; the player cards bear quotes and pictures of several members of the cast from the show. Even the "Intrigue" cards are explained as Michael Scott's changing the rules of the game on a whim. The details seem very much in the spirit of the show, down to the premise: Michael has called in the employees of Dunder Mufflin for a mandatory Saturday team-building exercise, to determine who "murdered" Toby.

If you are a fan of the Office and you are a fan of Clue, you will love this game.

This is like the old classic, but with some clever twists to make play a bit more fun and interactive. They did a great job sticking to The Office theme, with weapons, locations, etc. We had lots of fun figuring out "WHO KILLED TOBY?".

This is a great game. It's just like the regular Clue game, except the characters are Jim, Pam, Dwight, Angela, Any and Stanley. The little weapons are still metal and relate to Dunder Mifflin. They do have some extra cards - I think they're called Intrigue cards - that give you extra "powers" - such as not having to show a card, or being able to look at another person's card when they show someone else.

Traditionally loved game with an "Office" twist. We love playing board games, especially when the family gets together...this is a big hit!

I bought this for my boyfriend as a gift (he LOVES the Office. Who doesn't though?) and it was a really big hit. It's a really fun and quirky game. If you know about the office you'll appreciate the weapons. i do agree with some other reviewers that the character cards are kind lame. It would have been nice if they had taken the time to make little figurines. I'd totally recommend buying this game if you like the Office.

fun game for fans of the tv show "the office." i would think most people who get this game will have been a little removed from the original game of clue, which i believe was the reason for our rustiness when trying to figure out how to play. it is slightly complicated! plus this version throws in some new twists and turns to make things a little more interesting. definitely a fun game, but kinda loses its flair after playing a few rounds.

i would have given it 5 stars, but there wasn't enough added on fun that the tv show warrants.

I bought this game for my sister who is a big fan of The Office. We really enjoyed the game. It is very close to traditional Clue. Being that I don't watch The Office, I like that you don't have to know anything about the show in order to play it. Clue the Office Clue

My teenage daughters wanted this game. I thought it was a little pricey and was not a fan of the blatant episode of The Office which was an advertisement to sell the product.

However, the girls LOVE this game and it has been requested by their friends as the must bring game to sleepovers. The rooms and weapons are clever. The girls don't fully understand the Michael rule changes, so they play without that.

The board is sturdy, the character cards will probably not stand up to much abuse. Overall, very fun if you like the show. I don't think it will bring as much long term enjoyment as a regular Clue set simply because of the fad nature of the show.

It's a great game. Always fun. Except everyone I play with, including me, HATE the Character pieces that you move on the board. They are so stupid. Why would you make it like that! To move it is dumb. We always play without the pictures. But besides that, It's a great game. Just change the pieces you move!!(Characters with cards)
Gotta love the office, and gotta love Clue!!!!!!!!!
