We are always looking for ways to have students socially interact with board games...computer ones are great...but classic board games are better. This type of game brings the classic game into the lives of the 21st century student. Great purchase.

This Office edition of the classic game will be a welcome gift for anyone who likes the show and the game. I like the board layout (that is, I like the way the Office-themed properties were arranged on the board value-wise) and I especially like the Schrute bucks & the Office-themed tokens (my favorite is the Best Boss Mug). The only drawbacks I find are that the houses and hotels are referred to as reams of paper and paper warehouses, but their design is still that of regular houses and hotels; and I don't like that the property cards are the same shape and size as the chance/community chest cards. Also, I don't like that income tax is only "pay $200" without the "or 10%" option. None of these drawbacks make the game any less enjoyable, mind you.

This game was as enjoyable as the original Monopoly. My only criticism is: if we are to refer to the houses and hotels as reams of paper and paper warehouses, that's what they should look like.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas a few years ago because he is a huge fan of The Office. Not so much a board game, like I am, but I figured it would be a great way to get him to play a board game anyway. It kinda was! We set up and went to play it only to discover that not one, but TWO of the "property" cards are missing! And to make it worse, there is no way we can order or at least find copies of them online to make our own copies. can't even exchange the game. So, we can't even enjoy the game because of this. Who could? A bit of downer.

If anyone wants to post images of the cards we are missing, that would be awesome. They are the Red Statler Falls Hotel and blue Dunder Mifflin Corporate, NY.

I love the show and I knew this game would be hilarious! Everything is a reference to a classic office moment! I played it with people who had barely watched the show and it was a great conversation starter; the chance and community chest cards refer to hilarious things that happen in the show.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! ESPECIALLY FOR THOSE BIG FANS!

Thanks to whoever took out all the collectible pieces and then shipped it to me - that really made my birthday!!!!!! The game itself works fine - but the owner took out all the collector items and then sold this game to me. Pretty shady if you ask me. I didn't send it back because like I said the game worked fine - it's just really crappy that people don't tell you what your getting when you purchase items from Amazon....I mean, seriously? come on!
