USB 10-LED Light for Notebook Laptop PC

This light is nice in most every way (if a little *too* bright), however the bendy neck is nowhere near strong (stiff) enough to hold it in any position you might want to use. If you can twist the neck so that the light bar is more or less centered over the USB connector, it'll stay, but in most other positions, the heavy light bar will just sag down. This renders it pretty close to entirely useless. There are much better choices. And it really is way too bright. At least there are plenty of LEDs in case one or two burn out, but still...

Yes, the light strip does not hold perfectly straight in the air over the laptop keyboard, but learned I hated that idea anyway. Lay it flat between the laptop's LCD panel and the keyboard -- its much better and not in your line of vision. This light strip gives off seriously bright light. I am now using it to light a keyboard tray for one of my servers. Works perfectly and I don't have to turn on the server room's light just to see the keyboard.

I think I paid around $8 total for this (including shipping), so for $8 I wasn't expecting a life-changer. It lights up, just gotta figure out the best way to position it for your needs. I just wish the "neck" was a little longer, as not everyone's USB ports are conveniently located in an ideal spot for this light. I have a bigger laptop, not a tiny netbook sized one like shown in the item picture. That, and maybe have the neck be a little stronger, able to support itself better. But overall, the light works well, and is a pretty good deal for the price

My expectations were low for a product that costs about the same as the shipping fee. The housing is cheap plastic and it feels a bit flimsy. The flexible neck is barely stiff enough to hold it in place. However, it has been on for 10 hours a day (5 days a week) for the past few months and all 10 LED's are still bright.

The 10 LED's provide illumination for a specific spot on my desk without causing glare everywhere else.

If you need a lot of light in a portable form factor this product will provide it. The product produces a great deal of light, enough to light the keyboards of two laptops sitting side by side. I'm very happy with this purchase.

It is usable, but it is cheaply made. so it won't last. half year later mine is dying. the LED start to go out one by one.

This light is great for what I need. I have a larger laptop with the numeric keypad and any other clip on lights that I've tried do not light the entire width of the keyboard. I appreciate it being USB powered as I was using 3 batteries a day if not more some days using the previous light I had.

The only thing I wish is that the neck would either be a little stronger or that it would include a clip to fix it to the top of the screen. I solved the problem by gluing it to a chip clip and using a half-wide strip of electrical tape to create a light barrier to keep it from blinding me and it now works great.

I would recommend this item to others and think the price is reasonable.

I'm laying here in bed using the new little LED light that I ordered and I must say I am impressed for the most part. For the price you can't beat it. It puts out an amazing amount of light. Just enough to see and not so much to blind you. Sturdy, well made, doesn't seem fragile at all. The one thing I kinda don't like or scares me a little is the flexible shaft for the light. it is a little too stiff and I'm afraid it's gonna break off the USB port. So when you bend it I suggest holding onto the base. Still, I great little light with a lot of power for very little cost.$$

I though this product would glow blue but i was wrong. It just has a blue shell, i am very disappointed.
