5.0 out of 5 stars Get this if you have a Venus T4S
Yeah, I picked one of these bad boys up to hook up my Venus T4S eSATA closure. I have it in JBOD mode, I have no clue if it can be used in any RAID mode. USB 2.0 blows compares to eSATA, but I had to use it since my laptop only has a PC Card, instead of those new ExpressCard slots. No one makes a PC Card eSATA card that's based on the SiI3132 chipset.

it worked at first then broke after three weeks.. how? i don't know but .. truly it didn't speed up the sata drive.. long run >> ended up getting a sata adapter for the PC.. don't waste money on this at all..

I bought this piece of hardware to be used with my 500Gbytes eSATA hard drive. Instead of carrying the card adapter, you need just the adaptor. Simple's that!

Compré este adaptador para usarlo con un case de 4 discos duros (1 tera c/uno), funciona perfectamente bien. Lo tengo conectado a una portable MacBook Pro que no tiene salida SATA, la instalación es sencilla: sólo conectar este adaptador en el puerto USB y listo. Lo recomiendo.
