The "jump" or "thumb" drive was as advertised. The clincher for the sale was the included "cable extender" for the drive which attaches to the thumb drive and facilitates the plug-in process for the thumb drive to the rear USB port of my Dell laptop. I have encountered problems with several designs of thumb drives because the two USB ports are too close together (bad design, Dell) to accommodate both a wireless mouse antenna (most manufacturers) and direct connection of a thumb drive without using a "USB cable extender". This unit solved that problem.
