This works fine if you already have the drivers. If not, it's useless. LG phone drivers are hard to locate, particularly if your carrier is Verizon - You might as well just buy the kit from Verizon. If you need a spare or replacement cable this one is great.

The cable fits really tight, almost like pins will bend if you keep forcing it in.

One problem was the disc that came with didn't have the driver for AX8600, had to dig for it on the web.

Product was as described, came very fast by mail. They way it fits in my phone is a little off even though it says it should fit. Over all it is a good product.

This USB cable is NOT for the LG Choc or the enV2...the end that should plug into the phone is the wrong size!!!

Well, I purchased this item and never received it. When I notified Amazon they quickly and efficiently sent another my way. It was received in good time and in working order. I am very pleased with my purchase. THANKS AMAZON!

I had to buy the VX9900 enV without a contract and had it flashed over to my service provider. However, I found that it was impossible to set my mp3 files on a microSD card as ringtones, as I had been able to do previously with my other phone. This product, however, fit perfectly in my phone's USB port and the driver CD included had everything I needed to put those mp3 files on my phone as ringtones. An excellent buy!

I ordered this with the mentality that if it wouldn't work without drivers, I could always try to download them from the company's website (LG). Although, I did find one as I was downloading when I was connecting the phone and cable (out of the case). The phone was immediately recognized and automatically downloading drivers so no need to get anything from the web. Cable came a bit heated (I live in Florida) but it worked fine out of the package.

*I have windows vista (if the automatic driver download was caused by vista)...
*I used "Bitpim" to pass ringtones... no problem at all.
*Cable also Lets you charge.

I was all over happy with the product except I am unable to use the product because the software does not work. :(

I would have given no star if I was able. This cable does not work for the EnV phone. It may end up working one day with the correct driver, but this guy said he was sending a disc with links to get the drivers, and there is no drivers out there for the EnV yet. Don't buy this cable, especally from this guy.

I used this cable to successfully connect my LG VX8500 to my computer running Windows XP. And it functions well. I can transfer my photos from my phone to my computer. Get one if you have a model that it works with.
