My Mother gave this to me over the weekend and my sister and I fought over it all weekend - we are semi-mature 40-50 year olds. This is the stragest little item. It was as described and everyone will want one. I have no idea why, but its kind of cool, takes no batteries, requires no instructions. I'm using it in a well lit exterior office and its plenty bright.

This is a surprisingly good looking Holiday decoration. I was expecting the usual LED lighting through resin, but what the picture of the item doesn't show you is how beautifully the colors cascade through the entire tree like crystal. It's such a simple item to use in the office or home - just plug it into a USB port and it lights up any space quite cheerfully. One small warning: it's mesmerizing... There is a chance you will be caught just staring at the gently shifting colors while your productivity goes out the window! Summary: It's well worth the small price for this delightful tree!

It is solidly built and whatever the resin is made out of, the entire thing lights up as if it were an expensive crystal. The colors softly change every 3 seconds with a 2-3 second transition phase; colors I see are white, pink, a deep red, green, dark blue, yellow, and light blue. Glad I bought this little guy, it gives my work desk that Christmas ora that it was missing.

I really like this little tree to sit on top of my computer, and I may order another one next year to give away as a Christmas present. All the colors are real pretty also.

The star on top fell off in shipping
I got 6 of these in two shipments...all had the star off the top...still works just fine without it...I couldn't get the star to glue back on...
