Shoddy manufacturing, cards do not fit in slots. When you force them in, device does not recognize/read them. I suppose this device was not made to work, only to be sold. You get what you would expect from the price.
Price is so low that I didn't bother to send it back -- more trouble than it's worth, which I assume, is the vendor's strategy.
In short: I GOT HOSED.
Postscript: the vendor refunded my money without requiring that I send the product back, which I wouldn't have bothered with. They turned out to be reputable.

This product looked good on the web page. It even looked great when I received one. Maybe I received a lemon but this one didn't work for me and I moved on to another brand.

Nope. This depressingly cheap knockoff (of what was probably a knockoff to begin with) never read from SD correctly, and the USB ports would work only intermittently.
For the money, consider that the "Kingston 19-in-1 USB 2.0 Flash Memory Card Reader FCR-HS219/1" costs less, lasts forever, and includes an extension (but has no USB hub).

Hard to use
This reader was almost useless. The memory cards do not fit well and it feels like it will break or ruin the card, so I only tried it a few times.
