Not What I Thought I Was Buying, but Not a Bad Product.,

This product is basically a multimedia input/output extension chord designed to eliminate the need to reach behind your computer to access the various inputs and outputs. And for that purpose, this product works. I, however, bought it with the (mistaken) impression that I could plug this into a notebook usb port and then run my speaker jack through this media hub instead of the notebook jack, which I frequently wear out due to constantly plugging and unplugging my speakers into the notebook jack several times a day. But this product requires me to plug the speaker cable from the hub into my notebook usb port while I run my speakers to the hub. But since my notebook speaker jack is broken and has no right channel, I get the same result with this product.
It's still nice to use to increase the number of usb ports I have available, though. |
