We bought this because we didn't want to go wifi in our house, but still wanted to put the wii online to download games. We bought this and a 50' cable. Plugged it in and within a few minutes we were online with the wii. It's like plugging the wii right into your router.

Works out of the box
Had zero issues setting it up. It was up and running in minutes. I had to do literally nothing besides going through the Wii config menu.

didn't work
i tried this with my wii at my house, then my wii and my cousin's wii at his house. both worked wirelessly. neither worked wired with this adapter.

WORKS great!!
