I bought this sniper rifle off of [...] and was very pleased with my purchase. I have organized this review into different parts.

Opening the box: Upon opening the box, I noticed that the gun came neatly and tightly packed in styrofoam. The gun was in three pieces, the mostly metal barrel and trigger box, the stock (made of some composite material)and the screws for holding the gun together. The barrel/trigger box makes up most of the weight of the gun, and the stock is light. There are however weights inside the stock making the rifle very balanced. This comes with a speed loader (a must have for loading the clips) and two 25 BB capacity clips. The gun also came with stackable butt pads so you could lengthen or shorten the stock to the desired length and bipod for stability. It also comes with instructions on how to put the gun together (although it seems very easy, read the instructions, if you don't you may damage the gun).

Shooting: Pulling the bolt back on this gun for the first few times is a little hard to do if you don't have very strong arms, but it will ease up. I try to pull the bolt straight back and not to the side a bit because it makes it so much easier. After you have cocked the gun, you turn the safe off (which makes no sound at all) and pull the trigger. The trigger is easier to pull compared to any other gun that I've fired, making your shot so much easier and somewhat more accurate (you don't move as much). The gun is very quiet and mostly is not heard from 75 ft. This is also a very accurate gun. I have had 1 inch groupings at 75 feed with the hop up set to two clicks. Not bad at all. I also tried the pop can test. The bb pierced the can at 75 feet knocking it over and went all the way though at 47 ft.

Pros: nice accuracy
adjustable hop up
many accesories come with it
nice fps
little assembly required

Cons: May be hard to cock for smaller people
the camo- I live in the desert but then again that's why I bought this version with the desert camo stock, however if you don't live in the desert, you will be spotted right away.
orange tip- gives you away unless you cover it up

Things to get with this:
-a decent scope, not too powerfull
-a backup weapon (you will hurt if they spot you and you don't have one of these)
-desert camo paint set (a black barrel is not good in a desert environment, so paint it tan/brown,
-camo (any desert camo will do, just make sure the colors with your gun and your suit don't contrast too much

Overall, I give this gun a 4/5, and it would have been 5/5 had it not been for the bolt (it sometimes is hard to cock, and will be harder for smaller people.

This gun is like no other airsoft gun for the price.I recently received this gun and you can shoot a can from 170 feet away. This gun also shoots in a strait line. I recommend getting the scope with it..When you aim with the scope; wherever you put the crosshairs, thats where the bb will go.Its very easy to put together and load.I can shoot 60 rounds per minute! I recommend using only .20g-.25g bbs to have insane accuracy and power. Another thing is that when you get shot by this gun...IT HURTS!!!! BAD...So all in all this is the overall best airsoft gun to buy. This truly is amazing...Thanks Airgun Depot

this gun is amazing. it shoots great, easy to load. i bought it with out the bi-pod and scope, i thought i would bye them later but you dont even need them. it is really acurate. i shoot the .24 bbs and it shoots great. it has the best hop up ajuster i have ever used its right next to the barrol and is wicked easy to change. i was looking at the gen. 3 and this is the gen .5 and every one said the gen.3 was really hard to cock but this is the gen. 5 and they most of fixed that because it is really easy. the only thing is that to get the magazine out it is kind of hard. i would recomand this gun to any one.

best gun ever

BUY IY NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This gun is accurate and powerful, and I shot through both sides of a can at the end of my drive way from my bedroom window. I'll put it this way: everything black is metal besides the bolt tab and butt pad which are rubber, and everything in green is plastic (sorry i forgot the name of the plastic but it is surprisingly sturdy!). When I attached my bipod it was flimsy, but I realized that the problem was the weaver rail itself and tightened it with a screwdriver. It comes in two parts but is very easy to assemble (just make sure you are tightly putting the screws in the correct holes shown on the directions or the gun will break.)It shoots strong with .12 bb's, but I recommend .25 because they make the gun more accurate. I use mine with a leapers 4x32 sight which I recommend strongly because the gun doesn't come with a scope. One last thing: the amazon picture makes this gun look cheesy but in real life it has a decent weight and is scary as hell. I hope you found this review helpful!!

This gun is awsome! I got it this month and was exactly what I expectied. I can hit a human size trash can from 130 feet way( I have not tried any farther)! My trash can has a small square on it and I can hit that too. The gun shoots in a straight line. The shiping was great. It was there before the email said it would be. Over all this is a great gun the only thing I can say bad about it is that some parts get lose( the bipod, the scope rail, and the bolt) but all you need are the right tools and your fine.

I got this rifle in the mail from Airsplat after some confusion with UPS, but with no problem from Airsplat. The first thing I noticed was how heavy the gun is, and how good it looked. The Gen 3 bolt is a big upgrade over the Gen 2. I can now hit pieces of my friends clothes sticking out behind cover, and shoot throught an aluminum can 30 yards away, and put a serious dent or hole in it from much further! My only problem is that the bipod rail came slighty lose, but its no problem for a screwdriver, just tighten up the screws. If you get this, I would recommend using .20 or .25 BBs. I just recently ordered the Leapers 4x32mm Full Size Master Sniper Scope and I can't wait! Fun for playing with friends or just shooting targets! I highly recommend this gun.

First let me say this airsoft rifle is well put together and am suprised that they can make someting this well for the price. Its very sturdy, accurate and extremely easy to put together. I have to admit, the accuracy and distance really suprised me. Not sure how far he was shooting at the time, but he was consistently hitting a soda can from a distance the other kids couldn't with their store bought airsoft rifles. Anyway, my son is happy which makes me happy.

Ok well I'll just atart off on the one con: NO SIGHTS OF ANY KIND It really is a bummer if you spent all of your airsofting money on this gun and don't have any left to buy a bloody scope...but aside from that, this gun is POWERFULL. Even after complaining about the fact that it oesn't have any sights I will say it's very acurate (once you get the hang of aiming) The cocking is a little rough at first but it smooths out after alittle while. If the bipod is messed up when you get it don't get bummed, cuz there is a way to fix it, but you can't do it with the alan wrench it comes with. Yeah...when you get it you'll know what I mean. One more thing: the wieght. Ok if your a wuss and can't handle carrying a 6 pound rifle everywhere I wouldn't get this gun. So yes...that is my review. By the way this is my first gun so...yeah...trust me if you wish...I would get this gun either way.

Now first off I'd like to start out by saying I am an experienced airsofter, I have been playing for 3 years now and I have owned many snipers. DE L96, UTG L96, Echo 1 M28, TSD Vsr-10, Well M70, and now the master sniper. My friend originally bought this gun on ASGI with a scope and 5,000 bbs for 140 bucks. I ended up trading him an ARES G36 with a broken hop-up unit for the gun and a scope. This has been by far my favorite sniper rifle I have owned. the l96s were nice, but were a bit too bulky for someone my size (I'm small for a Junior in High School). The vsr10's were pretty nice too, however were a bit too toyish (only around 4.5lbs) This gun has the perfect weight (7lbs with scope). The feel of this gun is just absolutely perfect too. Now the only reason I gave this gun 4/5 is because the spring in mine has worn down after less than a year. it used to shoot around 460fps with a .2 , and now it's down to around 380 with a .2 . Because of this I have seen a decrease of range. I am not exaggerating, I used to be able to hit a man sized target out to 200 ft. without much of a problem. Now I have to lob the bb even with the hop-up on full. However I am going to be putting in a madbull spring, and I know that one won't wear down. Also I want to upgrade this gun but the only part that is compatible is the piston sear and that is vsr10. Don't let this steer you away though. If you only care about stock performance, this gun Is the absolute best in the 100 dollar price range. The hop-up is highly effective and consistent, it has a good stock fps (spring just needs to be replaced after about 10,000 shots.), and it has an absolutely amazing feel. As for an optic the UTG 4x32 is an amazing scope, but I personally have an Ncstar 3-9x40 rubber armored green illuminated scope that I love. The bolt pull on this gun is also really smooth. I clean and regrease my cylinder regularly so mine is always smooth ;) All in all I really love this gun and it is my personal favorite sniper. If you are thinking about getting it, ORDER IT ALREADY WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR?

this gun is not like any sniper riffle that you will find... THE GUN ITS SELF IS LIKE 20 POUNDS.!! i crongraphed it at a staggering 490fps with 25. and 520 fps with 20. and with 12- 570-590 . this gun shot from a roof to about 300 feet away and shot his foot. completely goes through cardboard, plastic, and obliterates cans. this gun comes with a speed re loader and bi-pod, 2 mags, sling (very good 1 too) and2 attachment rails. i have no scope and don't think i need 1. it dosent come with a scope though.
PROS
ABS and metal case, gearbox, barrel . rails, and trigger
AMAZING RANGE
AMAZING FPS
High quality bi pod and sling

CONS
Heavy weight
A little to convincing to a real gun
bolt WILL lock but just slide it really gentely

DON'T FORGET THIS GUN MADE MY FRIEND BLEED>>>!!!!
