After talking to another customer who had bought the case and gave me a few dimensions I decided to purchase. When i received the case it was in a large shipping package with extra paper padding. ----I assumed i would receive it folded and crushed into a small box, opening it to reveal tons of wrinkles and damaged areas---- I was very wrong. It arrived flat and protected by the several layers of paper packing material. In MINT condition, as if i picked it up at the store. It's very well made. The elastic "MOLLE-type" straps are durable and double stitched. There are plenty of them for any type of equipment (PLEASE SEE MY PICS in "Customer Images"). It fits my Ar-15 (CMMG lower w/ Rock River Arms M4 6-position Collapsable Stock and Stag Arms 16'' M4 Upper w/ standard A2 flash hider... in case that helps) like a glove. Snug, but with no unnecessary tension on the zippers. The Zippers can easily have locks attached to ensure it as a "Locked Container"... Just be sure to attach the locks to the holes nearest to the case to ensure a firm seal. The extra straps available in the case also have velcro (hook and loop) attached to the middle of the strap to ensure it does not move around inside the MOLLE-type straps. What a fantastic case and a great price. I'm very surprised... and dissapointed, that my local gun stores do not carry this case. PLEASE SEE MY CUSTOMER IMAGES ABOVE!!!

This case fits both my AR-15 style 6.8spc with scope still attached and Mossberg 12ga with folding stock and pistol grip. The stitching, seams, zippers and handles feel strong and durable. The extra storage is ample with multiple magazine and tool storage pockets. Only complaint are the straps for securing weapons in the case, they work but the guns still tend to move because the straps can only be attached to the case on the horizontal attachment points. Great case for the price, I have seen many far more expensive without the many nice features.

I purchased this case for my Doublestar M4 carbine. The length of the gun is 32.75 inches, and it is a VERY tight fit. This is with the buttstock fully retracted, so if your rifle is longer than this, I would say you need to look for a different case. Further, it would probably be a good idea to make sure you buy this for a rifle that is 32.5 inches to fit more comfortably. The case as straps to hold two rifles, and a pouch which allow you to stow some pistols and a few pistol magazines as well. These work ok, but could be a bit small for some larger pistols. What this case is missing is a better way to store AR-15 magazines. Right now I simply have my clips strapped in (not the best way to hold them, in the velcro straps used for the 2nd gun. If I were to transport 2 AR-15's, there would really be no way to store them. The case does have a 2 forms of transport, a normal handle to carry in a "suitcase" fashion, and a longer strap that allows you to carry it over your shoulder like a large "scabbard". These seem to work well. In summary: For the price this is a fairly decent case to store up to two more compact rifles. It is not intended for AR 15's with extended barrels. And it is best to buy this for rifles of not over 32.5 inches in length. Even then it is a snug fit. This case looks pretty innocuous, as it doesn't look like an all-out gun case. What it could use is pockets for magazines. UTG should increase the size of the pockets to allow storing AR 15 or AK 47 magazines, these could also allow storage of larger pistols. They might also include velcro closures on these pockets, to hold in pistols/magazines. Overall, a suitable case for storage of a rifle, and a few pistols. But it is pretty minimalist, but this can be expected at such a low price point.

Good, but not as polished as its 38" larger version,

Since I was already an owner of the 38" Covert rifle softcase, I had similar expectations for this 32-inch version that I decided would work for transporting around my MSAR STG-556. For the most part the smaller case does just that only in a more petite form factor, but its smaller dimensions weren't the only thing the UTG cut back on from its bigger sibling. Even though the quality of the fabric and stitching between the two seem to be about the same, the larger case had two shoulder straps with generous shoulder padding sewn into place, whereas this 6" shorter version only has a single strap sewn along the case's centerline made up of a fairly flimsy webbing, and combined with smaller, skimpier and less cushioned adjustable pad that slides along the length of the strap.Gone too is the two-tone nylon that the 38" had that made it look more convincingly like luggage than a tactical rifle bag. The 32" version I received is totally black and looks much more the part of a rifle case, though in truth given its overall dimensions I'm not sure if it would fool anyone into thinking that I've some sort of sports racquet equipment inside to begin with. The stock zippers are just as noisy as they were on its larger version; almost immediately after receiving the case I cut off the metal zipper pull taps and replaced them with paracord ties to greatly lessen the 'jingle' effect. The secondary compartment still has ample room to swallow all sorts of gear and accessories but as with my first Covert bag it could have used more mag pouches than the three supplied. The gun holster from the 38" case is gone and there's less in the way of sewn-in webbing for PALS-type add-ons or just securing various items that would otherwise be loose in the compartment. My Steyr clone fits with ample room in the main compartment--actually a 30" version of this case would've been an even better fit--and the case holds its shape reasonably well once all the gear is in place. The exterior nylon is the same sort of quality as before; it's not as stout as ballistic nylon but it works. The padding that serves as the inner lining to protect the case's contents is also about the same as the larger case, and I would expect that it will do just as good a job as my 38-inch Covert case has done for my AR rifle. So despite the decontenting that came with this case's smaller size, for a bullpup like my STG-556, an SBR or any sort length long gun, this softcase seems more than capable in doing the job that I want for it to do, and do it quite nicely.

Just got this case. Nice internal padding ought to protect it well to and from shooting range. My Mossberg 500 with pistol grip and laser/flashlight accessory package fits well. Nice product.

I've been looking long and hard for a gun bag that I could also use as a range bag that wasn't huge in overall size and didn't break the bank. This bag fits the bill perfectly! It fits my M&P 9mm, 2 mags, Sig 522 (stock folded) with an optic mounted, 3 26rd mags, ALL my cleaning stuff, ear plugs, bore snakes, rags, and several hundred rounds of ammo. Perfect! It seems very well built and should last many years, guess we'll see!

I had high expectations for this case, but it did not live up to them. It is decently sized, and the the strap system is unique, but overall it is of low quality. The zippers are not lockable, you can put a lock on them, but they are more likely to break from the added weight than anything. The case as a whole is flimsy, it wont hold its shape and from this I wonder how much protection it offers my CX4 when I transport it. The accessory pouch is large, but with only bungee straps, it cant hold much. For example, my shooting earmuffs, eyepro, CR123A cells, and firearms documentation don't really have a home now.It gets the job done, but just barely and I cannot vouch as to for how long

Perfect Sized Case For 16" AR,

I have an AR with a Spike's Tactical flat top upper (16" barrel, A2 flash hider), and a lower built with Magpul MOE stock. With the stock collapsed, this rifle fits well within this case. I was a bit worried that it wouldn't, but my fears evaporated when I fitted the gun into the case and there was about a half inch of room to spare. I don't have any optics, but a micro red dot type sight should fit without requiring removal. Not sure about a "full size" Aimpoint red dot. A longer or meatier stock may also not fit well. The three top straps holds the gun securely in place and I used one of the extra bottom straps to hold an empty magazine. When zipped up, the bag doesn't sag to one side with the weight of the rifle. It feels sturdy, well built, and well padded. The front pocket is nice and roomy, with sub-pockets for 3 rifle magazines (30-round Pmags fit well), plus a bunch of smaller elastic loops for tools, handgund magazines, or whatever else you want to carry. It's just about the smallest case you are going to find that will honestly fit a 16" AR rifle while providing enough additional space to be the only bag you carry to the range. I took it to the range with me this past weekend and everyone came up to me find out what brand it was. They were so impressed by the bag that they spent the remainder of their lane time fiddling with it, asking me questions, and completely ignoring the guy in lane 8 who was dual wielding Desert Eagles. Okay that didn't happen, no one gave me a second look. But I do really like the bag.

I have checked out my local stores and couldn't find anything under $60 that was the same size. Figured this case would be cheap compared to what I looked at in the stores. But I was very happy when it arrived. Same quality with extras like the stitched in adjustable velcro straps inside. Perfect. My AR is 32 inches, and there is about a 1/2 inch of extra space so it fits perfect.

delivered on time and in great shape - especially like how adjustable the gun parts holders are inside, as this allows for many different types of firearms to be stored and transported
