5.0 out of 5 stars Very good
This grip fits very well on my jg g36c. There is a neat feature: it can house 2 spare AA or three lithium batteries inside. This is also very comfortable.

1.0 out of 5 stars Doesn't stand up to recoil
This product would probably be fine on a poodle shooter but anything that shoots a battle rifle round or larger will cause this grip to come apart.

I bought this grip from Optics Planet and installed it on my Saiga 12. It lasted perhaps five rounds before the recoil caused the crossbolt to start wearing away. After that it could easily be pushed forward or...

Put this on my M&P 15-22 in under thirty seconds. Took it to the range and it works great. It fits snugly and seems to hold up pretty well. And even if it breaks I'll just buy a second one at this price point.

This thing is solid - No complaints. Even though it is plastic, I haven't had it loosen even after dumping 300+ AK rounds over a weekend.

The bottom unscrews to allow you to put things like batteries or french fries in it.

I was worried that it wouldn't fit my Keltec PLR 16 because it has a weird Rail, but I found that it would have worked great.

You see, prior to installing it, I was warned that it is Illegal to put a forgrip on a keltec PLR 16. That would make my AR15 pistol a SBR (short barrel rifle) as opposed to a .223 pistol that accepts standard ar15 mags. (what part of shall not be infringed did they not understand?)

I did however try it out on my AR15 and it again works great!

You wont find a better one, cheaper in price, higher in quality, and faster shipped.

I was very happy with the product.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good, sturdy grip.. but beware of exceptions., September 15, 2010

I bought this foregrip to replace a cheap one I took off an old airsoft rifle. My first reactions to this grip were positive in that it felt good in the hand, seemed to be built sturdily and I got it at a great price.

However, upon mounting on my Bushmaster XM-15 with a Yankee Hill Machine quad-rail handguard, I decided to test out the durability. The mounting mechanism on this grip is a plastic compression-style nob that once tightened from the bottom, locks into the space between the slats on the picatinny style rails. However, on my YHM hanguard, the slats do not cross the entire rail. For example, a typical rail may look like this:

[||||||] Standard rail

vs.

[::::::] My YHM rail

This prevents the nob from locking in between the lateral slats on the rail, therefore, simply by charging the weapon, the grip will slide forward.

So overall, I like the look and feel of the grip very much, however it does not work for my certain situation. I'll have to research some more and make sure I find a grip with a side style tightening mechanism. I'd recommend this product as long as you're sure it will work in your application.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great, September 9, 2009

Works well with my AR and compliments my pressure switch for my tact light. It is a little too long and I have to remove either the grip or my scope to secure my rifle in its carry case. Might have looked into collapsible grip instead.

5.0 out of 5 stars Better Than Expected, October 16, 2009

I figured even though it is $10, which leaves me skeptical, I decided to try it out. UTG has never let me down (got a LOT of UTG weapon accessories for my real guns, mind you, not airsoft). I must say, this item surpassed my expectations. It's sturdy and quite outstanding both in looks and function on my Black Beauty, that is my Mossberg 500. Here's a breakdown of the item:

Pros: Comfortable, price, pressure switch channels, durability, storage compartment

Cons: The way it attaches to the rail. It doesn't use the screw to run the channel. The battery compartment has a protrusion that catches the rail. It doesn't affect my rating, though, because it still holds very tight.

Overall, I am quite pleased and functionality is superb. Looks outstanding as well. If it holds up to my shotgun, you can buy in ease, knowing this sucker will stand up.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good grip, March 19, 2009

Sturdy grip, though slightly bulky. Grip fits larger hand with no problem. Designed to hold internal batteries and laser trigger. Also a storage compartment.

Very robust (plastic). Can handle abuse. Mounted grip on two different M4s and both worked like gangbusters. Able to hold M4 by grip and charge bolt without grip losing position on rail.

Ultimately, there may be better (and more expensive) grips available but this grip is great for the buck.

5.0 out of 5 stars grip review, THE GLOBAL SPORTSMAN feedback as well, June 21, 2009

First and foremost, this company is hands-down the best company I've ever bought anything from, period. They are a family run business and it's about the ONLY thing I've used money to buy and didn't feel guilty I could have spent it on food, bills, etc., because I am supporting a well deserved bunch of people who want the best for their customers.

On to the review, I do not own this grip but I've used this exact grip on my gun for a whole night and here are my thoughts.

1. I'm buying this grip from these guys right away as my first purchase from them, a 3-point UTG (same company) sling was delivered to me in 2 days on a Saturday (amazing) and I was very impressed with their speedy shipping. Most stores you wait 48 hours for them to ship out the items and then you have to rely on ups. With these guys I got mine item 5 days earlier than I thought I would.

2. It is very beefy yet not cumbersome. Another words it will fit any hand comfortably but it is solid and is a nice size.
I thought myself that a smaller grip would be better like the one I had. But immediately I noticed a huge difference between my $20 grip and this one. This feels amazingly on a g36c which is what I own and used for the night with this grip on. It even fits studier than mine on the railing and isn't going anywhere. My hands are somewhat large so that may be why, but I know a small guy use this and say it was great as well.

3. It is a great price and I am so lucky I ran into this on The Global Sportsman storefront because I was about to buy it at another site for $5 more... and that site would have taken 7-10 days to get to my place...

4, final and MOST IMPORTANT. If you're thinking about a different grip or any other supplies, please buy from this store; they are a family run business that cares about its customers and coincidentally has the best prices/best products, etc.

Thanks and please support TGS!
