It is not a hardside case, and not billed as such. This is an awesome, well-padded, well-made case that is a heck of a bang for the buck. I was able to put a Ruger 556 (with three mags, foregrip/bipod/tac light, and a Trijicon ACOG w/ reflex) and a Benelli Super 90 in the main case. Got a Beretta 92 and Glock 26 with 2 extra mags each in the smaller section, along with and extra reflex site. There was no bulging and contents are protected well. I doubt I would ever need to carry all this together, but it was nice to see I could.

I have 2 rifles in particular that I wanted to fit in this case. One of them collapses to around 33" while the other measures 42.5" in overall length (with a very heavy barrel). I was quite concerned while ordering this case (as the dimension states 42" in length), and I was taking a shot in the dark with the longer rifle fitting. As you can probably guess from my rating, IT FIT! The 2.5" WIDTH provides ample room - Both the rifles have decent size optics.

The zippers are not YKK and they are the only concern i have.
Super pleased with the purchase and the generous spacing of the case. The built in pistol and clip holsters are awesome too. I am going to the range this weekend and now I am just bringing one case.

I bought this for a 30.06 and a 30-30 expecting to have to take the scopes off. I'm actually able to leave both scopes on (and a bipod on the .06), as well as carry my .40, glasses, muffs, a cleaning kit, extra magazines, lots and lots of ammo, and still have room to spare. The stitching is pretty good and the zippers are heavy duty. The handles look good and the backpack straps are surprisingly comfortable. It does have two d-rings on the bottom that could be used for a shoulder strap, but they're plastic. Easy swap out for metal rings/clasps of some sort. The guns hold in securely with lots of options for extra tie downs. Socks are still a good idea. All in all, this seems to be a great case for the price and will make a great range bag and protect the rifles for storage which is what I wanted. And, no, I don't think the average person seeing this would automatically think "gun case", for whatever that's worth.

Love this case. Many Velcro straps to secure rifle. Mag pouches are big and will accommodate AR, AK, G3 mags. Material is decently thick. I like the fact that it's not obvious it's a gun case. I'd buy another.

Very nice case. I needed something to fit my Mossberg 590a1 with the short bantam stock (38.5"). A lot of the cases I saw were either too short, or too long. I originally chose this one because it was pretty close to the size i needed without being too long.

I am very happy with this bag as it seems sturdy. I like the backpack straps, and there is plenty of space to hold extra shells in the outside pouch. If I were to see this on the street I would not think it was holding a shotgun (or rifle)... a guitar or a keyboard maybe, but shotgun...nah.

The bag came in a HUGE box about 3' by 4' by 4".

I have recommended this to friends and would not hesitate to buy it again.

This gun case is a must have. I can fit my ak47 and 12gage shotgun nice and neat in one pouch, and four 30rd mags, and six pistol mags and my in the our pouch no problem. I love this case.

This is best case you can get in market for this price, if you are looking for soft get buy this. I can easily fit my Shotgun Remington 870 express with HK416 Tactical rifle with scope mounted on it,the 8 strap give extra care for the guns as they don't scratch each other and above all there lot of room for magazine,pistol and ammo.

Best tactical gun case for the money ; once again UTG has done a great job of making an excellant product .

The main compartment is big enough to carry my M&P 15 (stock extended) and 1300 Defender (regular stock). Outer compartment offers plenty of extra room for magazines. Stitching seems very good.

A quality product that is well worth the price.

This case has all the features you would want to make it quick and easy to get your stuff to the range. I don't think you can do better for the money.
