great shotgun, April 14, 2006
I recently purchased this shotgun. It is much better than my old Intimidator shotgun. The first pro you will see with this shotgun is the weight and quality. The shotgun is heavy, and I like that. Beware however, that the weight is only because of various lead blocks that are put inside the gun to add weight. You will then see the various weaver rails. This is good for mounting lasers and scopes. Next, you have the adjustable hop-up. Now it is time for performance. When the hop-up is all the way down, .12s float up, and .20s go perfect. So it appears that this gun is made for .20s and up. I think you may actually be able to use .28s. The range is superb, I don't have an exact, but it is well over 80 feet. Now to the power. The FPS isn't as good as my intimidator, but I believe its not that far off. I was amazed by the accuracy, and I put a sight on mine. I am going to adjust the hop-up so the bb slightly rises, so it matches the sight. I would recommend this to any airsofter, and there are way more pros than cons. The only cons so far is that the possition of the collapsable stock is level to the barrel. This may not seem like a problem, but it makes it dificult to use the barrel as a sight, and that is why a sight was needed to be purchased. The reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because of the lack of FPS compared to the intimidator, and the stock. The only other reason is that you can buy better quality shotguns, like the marui ones. Those shotguns cost $200, so that doesn't really count. HAPPY AIRSOFTING! -Bread_Crumb

Worth it All The Way, April 1, 2006
A Kid's Review
This gun rules in airsoft wars. Pros: Heavey weight Very powerful (330fps with a .12, 260fps with a .20) Accurate Comes with extra magazine and speedloader Fast ROF (rate of fire) for a spring gun Long range Slam firing option (hold down the trigger and pump the gun to shoot)-not recommended but fun anyways Cons: No sights So as you can see, this gun is really good. The pros far outweigh the cons, which is a good reason to get this gun. Oh yeah, and you can get this gun off Airsplat.com for cheaper and with the extras I mentioned above; that's what I did. Best springer on the market and my main weapon. Oh yeah, I'm not under 13, I'm actually 15; I was just too lazy to sign up. Hope this helped.

Easily Comparable to Tokyo Mauri..., May 1, 2007
Wow. I just bought this gun last Saturday (april 21)...and i got it about an hour ago (may 1). This, by far, is not only the coolest looking, but it is the most powerful for the price; And like i said, easily comparable to Tokyo Mauri in quality. The Utg 870 Cqb Retractable Shotgun is great for airsoft wars...while i haven't used mine in one yet, (this weekend i will) my friend has one and i know how it works. I would reccomend, despite what it says in the manual, to use standard .12g pellets. It says to use .20 Neon fire specialty ground...but this is reduces the range for the about the same effect as .12g. Pros/Cons +Awesome looking- tactical jet black, also heavy on hand at 4 pounds +Cool features- tri rails, retractable/removable stock, sling, adjustable hop up, 2 clips (plus mine came with the hi-cap 170 round mag for free!) +Powerful- 330 fps w/ .12g, 260 fps? w/ .2g +Cheap- only 28 bucks for the quality, near tokyo mauri -None? My friends and i all have serious guns and this easily stands up to them. SO DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND BUY IT!
