This is a great AR sight for the money, but beware that it will NOT fit tall gas block rails. If your gas block rail is the same height as your receiver rail, you need to use a low profile front sight. I had to order lo-pro sight and give this to a friend.

This is a very good, very economic flip up front sight. I have a rear flip up sight similar to those issued in the army by knights armament. Works well with this rear sight. Does not sit exactly flush with the forward rails, but is still out of the way using a hunting scope, aim point reflex sight, and EoTech holo-sight. the large tightening knob on the side can throw off the symmetry of your weapon if that's an issue for you. hasn't come loose yet, but i tighten the knob with a multi-tool after every range session, just in case. easy to adjust with a nail or multi-tool, and works just like the M4 standard issue front sight post. the sight picture is pretty much the same as using military iron sights. the transition between iron sights and flip up sights with this product was seamless.

I know it does not say it in the description, but it IS built on mil-spec, so that mean it will work on you low profile picatinny gas blocks ( as long as they are mil-spec too ) Great product.

Attached to the firearm and took about 20 rounds to sight in.

All-metal construction helps keep it stable with all that heat coming form the gas block.

Great set of irons for my AR. Have had no problems staying zero'd in over a 1000 rds so far. The only thing I would like to see changed is the front tower to be thinner for long range acquisition.

Unfortunately, I can't give an honest review of this product. I had ordered this, along with a UTG rear flip sight to go on a S&W M&P flat top with this mounted on the front gas block. Little did I know that the gas block on the S&W is taller than typical, and requires a rail height sight. Fortunately these weren't expensive. They do seem sturdy, but I can't attest to their ability to retain zero, or hold up to recoil. Anybody need some discounted sights?

Had issues keeping the sight from folding down by itself on .308 rifle because of sharp recoil. Probably O.K. on smaller caliber .223/5.56 rifles.

Great addition to my AR-15. I took of the sight post and placed this on the gas block, it works great, easy to sight in, however make sure you order the sight adjustment tool with it.

after having this sight on my gun for about a week, i opened up my gun case, and there was rust on it. :(

A little TLC with some CLP and the rust was gone. Make sure that you keep this thing lubed up!

I bought both the front and rear sights for a DPMS flat top. The sights mounted easy. worked well and were easy to site in. These sights work great as backup sights and co-witness great with the red dot scope I mounted plus they fold down out of the way when not in use. The sight seem well made and I have had no issues with them after several hundred rounds fired. Friends who have paid much more for their sights have made comments they wished they would have purchased them. Cheap price but seems to be a great product.

The UTG Flip Up Tactical Front Sight was very easy to install, sight in, and holds its zero perfectly. Placed on a DPMS Panther Sportical 5.56x45 I can hold a 1 inch group at 100 yards with this thing. I was hesitant about buying because of the low price compared to high end flip up sights, but this thing is just as good as the others. Military style up and down adjustments on the front sight post make zeroing a dream. I would recommend to anyone.
