I purchased this for my new AR15, thinking that it would be a great accessory to my cleaning box. Now mind you I am not against buying anything made in China, but this is made in China and it is so flimsy it broke the first time I cleaned my rifle. The little oil container comes empty. When I filled it with lubricating oil it leaked out of the container. The patches that come with the kit do not (of course) fit down the barrel. So when you cut them they come apart in hundreds of little strands that stick in your barrel. This is probably the worst cleaning kit I have ever purchased. The description of the product says "US Military" cleaning kit. I hope these are not issued to our soldiers!!!

False advertisement. What AA Armory sent was not what is depicted in picture (i.e. was not US military surplus ... case is smaller, not stenciled with "US" markings and contents probably made in Viet Nam or nearby country).

Have used the cleaning kit for F88 Steyr 5.56mm and works well as expected. Cleaning rod actually saw a bit of difficulty screwing 1 of the pieces together which is disappointing but I can work around it. Same as standard issue cleaning kit in Army so knew what I was buying.
