This rail fits several types of mounts with no problem. I have riveted them successfully too, with a little effort. Remember to drill your receiver holes before you bend. The best way to mount these that I have found is to tap the holes with 10-32 and use socket head cap screws from inside the receiver.

Great product. Only real option to mount a scope on my Yugo M70B1. Unless you've got a drill press, a tap and die set and are comfortable drilling through your receiver, take this to a competent gunsmith for installation. Use 10 X 32 button head allen screws from the hardware store and have the outside holes of the mount tapped so that the screws can be installed from inside the receiver. A word of caution: the forward allen screw button head can not project too far into the receiver or it will obstruct mag clearance (at least with my Tapco polymer mags). I had to remove the forward button head allen screw and re-install without the lock washer (added lock-tight to threads) so I could achieve the necessary clearance. This only applies to Yugos with 1.5 mil thick receivers. This may not be the case with a WASR-10.

It works as a fine side mount but would have gladly paid a little more for it to include bolts and instructions. Make sure you have your rails before mounting this to your receiver. It doesnt come with any measurements or installation instructions. It has divitos to fit over the rivits in the receiver si I used those as a guide but it mounted a little crooked. You need to measure and "level" this very carefully before drilling. You might have to grind down a rivit or two to get this thing level. Other than that it holds well.

I had purchased this to attach onto my Mosin Nagant 9130, since i love the Ak style mounting system. It was machined well with a good finish. People complain about UTG making rough equipment, but i would have to disagree. It does not come with bolts, or any instructions, but if you are going to be buying this, then you should have a planned out how to attach it.

Anyways, i later on pre-drilled the holes, and tapped them, and put on the bolts (get them at Ace Hardware). I had to also weld a small piece of metal, about 1/4 wide, and 1.5 in long in order to support it on the Mosin's receiver.
After i completed it all, i secured the bolts with some Loctite glue, and i was finished.

The side plate still works great, it hasn't bent in anyway, and it holds on alot better than the original P/U Nagant scope mount.

Over all this, is a great Side Plate for the buck.

You only get the part so you will have to find your own means to install it. Search youtube for videos on how to install!

This rarely happens, but it is the same quality and cheaper than others I bought, and it comes with screws to install it (but I'm using rivets). Nice blue finish, would match a MAK90 well.

I got this product to install on my Romy G build which I did on an NDS 3 receiver. It was relatively easy to install
after I got over my initial hesitation to drill the receiver. There are no instructions, trick is to make sure the top
of the mount is equidistant from the top of the receiver on both sides. Used it today for the first time with a quick
release scope rail and it worked great.

The construction seems sturdy. I fired over 150 rounds last week with a scope mounted on the AK scope mount base and it didn't budge a bit. When the item came in, I was surprised that the nuts and bolts came with it because it didn't say anything on the item's description. The holes in the back did not align with my Arsenal AK47 Classic trigger group pin, but I have plenty of tools to modify it to make it work. So despite with all modifications needed to be done to make it fit properly, I'm giving this item 5 Stars because I'm very satisfied with the price and the materials durability.

first...you can install this youself a gunsmith will kill your pocket an its way to easy just need drill,bits tape and a few level tubes"the inside of the level that has liquid in it" and a vise w wood blocks or 2x4 cuttings will work,get gun level then level and plumb barrle with slide you will need to tape the level tube on the rail get them both plumb and use a sharpie to mark hole locations NOTE:drill the mag hole first...its the only one that will give u issues if any occure then test fit mag..if all is well drill the rest of your holes and put a lil lock tight on the supplied alen bolts before tightening. re assemble giver a wipe down and you saved hundereds! good luck! Obviously there isn't much here that could go wrong. The design is pretty much standard no matter what brand you look at and after a professional install this mount has done everything you could expect from it.
