Product Description

UTG Homeland Security 25" Covert Gun Case, Black, PVC-MC25B

Firearms are considered a variety of different things amongst many enthusiasts. Some may claim them to be one or a combination of the following: investments, family heirlooms, tools of the trade or sport, life lines, and potentially dangerous weapons. All of the above are valid and should be considered as such. These are reasons why proper storage and transportation of firearms is a priority, let alone a responsibility, for shooters. A quality gun case is one of the first initial purchases every gun owner should undertake upon receiving a firearm. They are necessary to legally and safely transport firearms from the home to the range, and keep the gun along with its accessories in one location at the ready. Like a premium scope is to a quality rifle, a well-made gun case complements any firearm. Leapers UTG gun cases is the choice to make for excellent quality, high value, and affordable gun cases. Homeland Security Covert Gun Cases were specifically introduced with their discreet shape for all activities and environments. Pockets, straps, handles, pouches, whatever you, the shooter, believe is needed, you will easily find them designed into these cases – ready for your purchase and use.

Inconspicuous Design

The classic lines and squared off look prevents any unwanted attention and allows for discreet carrying and transportation.

Rugged Quality and Materials

Standard to UTG gun cases are heavy duty, abrasion resistant materials and hardware. Thick padding, dense seam line stitching, and quality zippers insure that your firearms are well protected. Not only your firearms will enjoy the ‘comfort’, you will love that full, smart, not-a-wrinkle UTG look of your case, out-shining anyone else’s.

Multiple Size Options

Different size cases to perfectly fit your specific firearm’s dimensions and any additional accessories that come equipped with it. UTG always builds our cases with generous space. Every dimension relates to space you can use. If it’s a 25” case, 25” is the inner dimension you will get, not the outside dimension. For this case, the main compartment is 25”X12”, with an additional padded 22”X10” front pocket.

Quick Access Main and Auxiliary Compartments

The main compartment is cleverly designed with stretches of elastic loops and movable straps to secure firearms anyway you need. The auxiliary compartment with its loop and pouch system makes organizing mission critical accessories a no-brainer, allowing access to everything you need quickly.

I have included pictures in the Customers Image Gallery to show you what I am referring too.

With very little information about this case I decided to help those out that have the same questions I did. On how a Yugo M70 would fit or not fit.

This case is wonderfully constructed and very nicely padded and I do give it thumbs up for that. But as you can see with a Yugo M70 it is a tight fit. I have been using it now for a few months and have had no trouble with the zipper closing or opening, but I am worried that one day it may have the barrel come through it. Also having this fit so tight will keep me from using any other kind of break unless I take it on and off each time I use it. (Pict)

Also I found that with polymer magazines, the outside pocket did not want to zip close if I had the mags in the pockets as UTG suggests. But you could zip it closed if you use the outside elastic straps(Pict).

Bottom line, would I recommend this case or buy this case again, yes in a heartbeat. I love that it doesn't look like a rifle case and feel comfortable putting it in my car and not having it scream gun to everybody. I plan on picking up the 32 inch case in the near future for my AR15 when broken down, and will test to see if it looks like it would be a better fit for this kind of rifle when I do. I will follow this review up when I do.

My AR-15 loves this case! It fits perfectly and has lots of adjustable velcro straps inside to hold everything, plus the secondary pocket fits lots of mags and stuff. It has lots of nice soft padding inside to protect everything. The zippers are nice and fat and strong and easy to use. The strap is awesome. I read other reviews where people were saying they didn't like how the strap was mounted because they didn't see how it could be used to carry the case well because it wasn't mounted at the top corners of the case like a normal duffel-bag or whatever. It's not meant to be carried like a duffel-bag. Actually it's way cooler than that. The strap works perfectly to carry the case on your back, kinda like a sword or something. It's really awesome. Way better than what I expected. 5 star product for sure. I hope people read this and understand how to use the strap because it's very comfortable and convenient, etc. :).

My new gun case arrived today and it is awesome. It holds my M&P AR15-22, with stock fully extended (I live Massachusetts so collapsible stocks are illegal), my M&P 40 (full size, and yes I love S&W), two full size mags for the AR15, which are the same size as a regular 25 round AR15 mag and four mags for the M&P 40 and has room to spare. The great part is fully loaded it looks like a brief case or maybe a large chess bag (again I live in Massachusetts, suburb of Boston, so if I leave my house with an obvious gun case I typically get a visit from the police). It is fully padded for protection and the AR is held in place with Velcro straps. The Velcro straps can be moved to any of about 12 different slots so it is fully adjustable for any configuration. The M&P 40 fits in a pocket designed for an AR mag. It fits in the pocket perfectly and is held in place securely. I have to break the AR down to fit, but I knew that before I ordered it. I actually wanted to do that, so the case would be a lot smaller. They make the exact case in larger sizes so you can carry a rifle (or multiple rifles) without breaking it down.

If I just carried hanguns it will easily hold 6 full size handguns in the back compartment and all the mags in the front compartment. I could probably even fit my cleaning gear in there if I wanted to, but I carry all that in my range bag. I don't think you could fit a set of ear protection (obviously the large ear muff style, not the ear plugs) in the bag so you would have to carry that separately. I carry all my ammo, two or three ear protections, three eye protection glasses, cleaning kit, staple gun (for targets) and miscellaneous items in my range bag so I wasn't trying to consolidate to one bag. If you wanted to have just one bag you would need a larger version of this bag.

I bought this case for my Kel Tec PLR-16 and it fits perfectly. With an aftermarket muzzle break I have about 1.5 to 2 inches of room on either side. The flexible inner strap options make for solid retention of the PLR and there's plenty of room in the main compartment for a scope, bi-pod, or any number of other accessories.

The front pocket has three long pockets that could be used for anything from water bottles to ammo boxes or anything in between but they hold my 30rd pmag's perfectly. there are also four small elastic straps that are perfect for single or double stacked pistol mags, tools or some mid-sized accessories. I would love to have a small zippered pouch in the front pocket for small accessories like individual allen wrenches or my laser boresight, but I can't expect the folks at UTG to think of everything.

The attached shoulder strap works great for carrying the case out of the way of a seperate range bag or large ammo box, and even works well when riding my motorcycle.

All in all you can't beat this bag for a convenient and inexpensive way to carry an AR type pistol or similarly sized weapon and lot's of accessories.
