These bipods are clones of the Harris bipods. Construction is very similar but quality is lacking in some areas. Overall they function well for the price and it's hard to see any difference from a Harris until you actually use the bipod.

My main complaint was with the way the bipod mounts to the picatinny slot. I needed to adjust mine initially to get the bipod straight. There is a bolt that runs through the mount and is supposed to be secured with a set screw that limits movement. Loosening the set screw and bolt enables the "panning" feature. While attempting to loosen the set screw I found it was in very tight and very soft. It was impossible to get the set screw loose without deforming it. UTG would greatly improve the quality of this product by using some higher grade hardware in it's construction.

Put about 300 rounds through my AR this weekend with this bipod and worked very well. the swivel and the leg extensions work great. long enough to allow for 30 round mags on an AR-15 platform. mounts up well and hold weapon steady. Overall nice piece for low money.

Feb.2010: This is an excellent product for the half price. I use this in my R-25, .308 with 100 rounds and work fine.

Feb.19-2011 Upgrade !: 12 months later I have like 1000 rounds with my R-25. Im very, very happy with this Bipod. No one complain, no need to do anything... only shot !!!... Great the bipod and the rifle !

This may not be a Harris, but for the money you'll be hard pressed to find a better bipod for your rifle. Seems very sturdy and is rock solid on my gun. Doesn't need to be overly tightened on your rail. I just used a quarter to turn it tight using the slot on the mounting know and that's plenty. Highly recommended.

This bipod is pretty awesome. It fits my AR very nicely and has a small swivel feature that makes small adjustment easy. It's very easy to put on and take off and you can mount it to that the legs fold up either way. I'm happy that I went with bipod.

I'm really glad I did my research with this purchase. Because of the different sizes (6" vs. 9") - if you have a large capacity magazine - this is the bipod you want. Thankfully I read reviews of others who stated the 6" was too short for their mag. I have a 25 round mag and this fits perfectly with just a slight extension of the legs (see pictures). Well constructed of heavy metal and the thumb screw makes removal and install a huge bonus. Great price for what you get.

I wasn't sure if this would be up to snuff for my heavy use rifles, so I bought one for my .22LR rifle. I have yet to actually use it for that though, because it is solid and functional enough to keep on my AR and my Rem 700. The included swivel adapter is now a welcome addition to my hunting rifle so I can use this bipod from a deer blind. It makes sighting in a scope much easier since I can never stack sandbags high enough to get comfortable. Its adjustable legs let it go from low-pro to sitting high for casual shooting. Sturdy and compact, my only complaint is that it's made in China. I will probably buy a second one in order to keep it on my .22 for when my wife and I got shooting together, which is what this one was supposed to be for in the first place.

I have a couple of Harris Bi-pods and they look and performs just as well. Solid and strong! Mounts the same as Harris but uses metric size instead of SAE. Springs are strong and open and closed positions hold true. The adjustment knobs on the legs hold even with my 50 Cal. rifle recoil. Highly recommend, save a few bucks over a Harris brand.

Installed quickly and easily, similar models by other manufacturers cost $60+. Very solid steel construction with spring loaded rubber feet. Swivel functionality is a nice addition but you must loosen a bottom bolt in order for that to work (Which is fine but it is not a instant adjustment). Very pleased so far.

I initially bought this for my 10/22 figuring for the price it would be of sufficient to handle a .22 at the range. I was more than pleasantly surprised to find that the bipod was very well built, and could easily handle my Ruger .308. For the price, I'll you can't beat it with a stick. :) I'll definitely be buying more.
