This is a great power full wireless card. Fully supported on linux as access point. The range is pretty good, I can get a weak signal even at 500 ft.

This card is a wonderful wireless card. Although I cannot comment on its sensitivity, I can say that it has excellent linux support. I installed the card as a replacement for a failed wireless card in my wife's netbook.

This card fails to produce the rated output power under linux 14.04 with ath9k driver (or with Windows either).

Measured with Agilent USB probe U2000A, and output power is 10 dBm / port ! This is confirmed by the site:
http://xiaopan.co/forums/threads/alfa-tx-power-measurement-results-and-some-other-cards-too.5378/

"And by nasty I mean that if it detects tampering of the channel/TX power EEPROM settings, it silently limits TX power to 10dBm (10mW). So, the driver displays 27dBm but you'll get 10dBm out of the antenna port."

Sees & connects to signals near and far just fine. Running it on Win7 32bit on Toughbook CF30. Using Lenovo wireless utility. Win7 utility will work ok too.
Must search google for the Ubnt driver, I could not find the driver from within Ubnts website.
