(REAL NAME)
I became sufficiently interested to purchase this band's CD when I heard one of their songs, Bakbakan Na, on a website for Bakbakan, a Filipino martial arts organization headquartered in my hometown. I didn't expect it be as good as it is, and I thoroughly enjoy it, starting with the first track, Take Control, a very upbeat, positive, and high-energy pop rock tune somewhat reminiscent of bands like Bon Jovi and their contemporaries. There's also Beautiful, an emotional ballad which is included in both studio and acoustic renditions. For any fellow martial artists and workout fiends among you, just TRY listening to the afforementioned Bakbakan Na without feeling the drive and energy to hit the gym (or an adversary). This group has enormous potential for growth, and I think they'll catch on big-time in the US if they're only marketed properly.
