The colors of the chalk markers are quite vibrant. It was one of the selling points of them. It is important to note that you will not take them out of the package and then just start writing with them. You will have to take the cap off and press the tip of the chalk marker several times on something (I often used a random sheet of paper until the color came through to the tip, which you will be able to see). After that initial step, I have been able to use the chalk markers several times without any issue.
I did notice that right after I had finished writing with the chalk markers, if I were to accidentally touch or brush against what I had just wrote, it would smear. So, to combat this, just set whatever chalk surface you are writing on aside and wait a few minutes. This may be a bit of an issue to some, but for me, I had no problems waiting, as I was able to move on to the next thing I needed to do.
Furthermore, other reviews have stated that they had issues regarding the chalk marker erasing completely or leaving shadows.Read more ›
