Another great stocking stuffer!

After a month or two, the nib started to retreat into the barrel, It was still functional, and as long as I held it right it worked fine.

The tip is always moist and makes a fine dark line.

I love these pens.

When I visit art or office supply stores, I always spend an outrageously long time looking at the pen selection. I used to like Pilot V7 Precise's because of their dark, reliable lines -- but they're rather expensive.

I first found the "Le Pen" at University Art in Palo Alto, CA. Now it's practically all I use unless I need a larger line, then a Sharpie works just fine.

The body is almost a perfect cylinder with no weird over-branded markings. The tip is always moist and makes a fine dark line. The thin form factor is comfortable and easy to carry.

I love this pen and have tailor my entire drawing style towards it. Very controlled yet, filling ink lines. My only complaint is that they're only 1 line width, but for a .02 its the best you can buy for a ridiculously inexpensive cost.

I never learned how to hold a pen correctly, so even as a righty, I constantly smudge my writing. I searched for a pen that offered solid ink flow with limited smudging. Le Pen (not La Pen, as the seller is calling it here...you should fix that!) does just that. I first found this pen in a stationary store in Los Angeles. When I moved back to Boston, I had to search online for my favortie pen.

Compact, smooth, even flowing, and pretty much smudge-proof, Le Pen is the only pen I will use!

No further comment required. Great shades offered, great fine writing tip, long-lasting ink, in my experience. Love the slender barrel and non-obtrusive clip. Hope Uchida/Marvy never stop making these little gems!

I got my first LE pen at a Books-a-million store. They are so calming to write with, I used mine in my journal almost every day. After a month or two, the nib started to retreat into the barrel, It was still functional, and as long as I held it right it worked fine. Eventually that pen dried out and I ordered these through Amazon. It was working beautifully just as my last one did. Why they are so inexpensive I have no idea, they're beautiful, attach securely to my journal (Moleskine, and B&N Readables), and are light and fit in pockets without stabbing through your pants or leaking. Unfortunately I misplaced my last one :,( but I intend on getting more anyway.

Oh, one more thing. After a few weeks or so after the ink dries on the paper, theirs a sepia-glow that shows around the writing, It only does it in my Readable journal though, so I think it's a reaction to the paper. I love the effect though because it makes the paper look older without damaging it.

They're not expensive and I like them and I really think you will like them too.
