5.0 out of 5 stars Wow...this will really smooth your rough parts
Well, I was initially confused by the directions telling me to wash udder and teat parts. "Why," thought I, "do I need to wash my teats just to put lotion on my hands?" Nevertheless, I went ahead and did it.

Anyway--the lotion works great on hands, feet, pretty much any body part I guess, to keep your skin soft and supple or to heal chapped or chafed skin...

1.0 out of 5 stars no longer a fan of Udderly Smooth Udder Cream
I used Udderly Smooth Udder Cream for many years but since they recently changed their formula I am no longer a customer. The formula used to be Allantoin, Dimethicone, lanolin oil, and Propylene Glycol in an Emollenient base. Whether I got too much sun or my skin was too dry, it made my skin feel wonderful. Now the formula contains Deionized water, Stearic Acid, Peg 2...

Well, I was initially confused by the directions telling me to wash udder and teat parts. "Why," thought I, "do I need to wash my teats just to put lotion on my hands?" Nevertheless, I went ahead and did it.

Anyway--the lotion works great on hands, feet, pretty much any body part I guess, to keep your skin soft and supple or to heal chapped or chafed skin. I've found udderly smooth works better than any other lotion I've tried! It's great for runners with nasty calloused feet.

Words of caution: keep out of your eyes. it hurts. Bad. Also, don't use on any of your parts infected with cow pox.

I first heard of this product a few years ago from a friend who testified that this skin moisturizer was working wonders for her.

But, it was only a couple of years ago that I finally got to buy and test the product and I second my friend's opinion. This product works and is great for those who live in cold places and need to constantly use moisturizers. This works great for those tough places like your elbow joint, your feet and hands...often these parts tend to be drier than the rest of the body.

Since discovering the product I have boought this product and given it as a gift to my extended family. And their verdict? The same as my friend's and mine...this works!

5.0 out of 5 stars The only Lotion or Cream you will ever need. Really., April 12, 2005
This review is from: Udderly Smooth Udder Cream, Skin Moisturizer, 12 Ounce Jar (Health and Beauty)
About 8 years ago I was working in a field that had my hands in more moisture than I could heal from. Wearing gloves was no help as I just sweat in the gloves and the hands were cracked and bleeding. They would not heal. If you want to have Skin that just plain hurts, well this is it, and it was severe. Cracked skin is the worst!

Went to the Doc and they sent me to the Pharmacy after the best creams and lotions that Dermatologists can recommend. In fact, I tried just about everything on the market. Nothing really helped me well, nor felt relieving. The greasy mineral oil based stuff was worse, as you could not touch anything without Greasing it. (if you could hold on to it.) Time off to heal up was not going to happen either.

I found Udder Cream and it was the only thing that helped heal my hands. It was immediately soothing, It allowed my skin to heal quickly and the tub became my constant companion. You can even get the lid back off the tub after you use this stuff as it is non Greasy. It is more affordable than most of it's competition, and It was not long before I was back to having healthy skin, Even at the Job!

The only thing that would stop me from using this product is if the Maker either quits business or improves the Formula to it. This is nice stuff!

5.0 out of 5 stars Miracle cream!, November 4, 2010

I used "intensive" moisturizers on my very dry and calloused feet daily, without any improvement at all. I received a sample packet of Udderly Smooth at a fair, and used it two weeks ago. It IMMEDIATELY transformed my feet. Honestly, after one application (after shower, before bed) it was like 20 years just disappeared off of them. I used the sample two weeks ago, and my feet are still very soft and healed. This stuff is amazing!

5.0 out of 5 stars Udderly unbelievable!, February 25, 2010

This lotion saved my feet for the last three years. I was considering just cutting them off during a very dry winter day, then BAM I was given this cream as a gift!
You know in the winter when your heels get dry and crumbly and tear your hose when ever you try to wear them?
Get a ped-egg and some of this cream.
Even without the ped-egg it is substantially better for heels and other very dry areas than anything else I've tried.
Sometimes it's hard to find here in Central Vermont but a trip to Wally-World just for this stuff is worth it.
My feet were a bleeding mess 3 weeks ago. Now they are HAPPY FEET!!!

1.0 out of 5 stars no longer a fan of Udderly Smooth Udder Cream, January 23, 2012
This review is from: Udderly Smooth Udder Cream, Skin Moisturizer, 12 Ounce Jar (Health and Beauty)
Now the formula contains Deionized water, Stearic Acid, Peg 2 Stearate, propylene glycol, isopropyl myristate, dimethicone, lanolin oil, mineral oil, triathanolamine, allantoin, methylparaben, propylparaben, fragrance and it just doesn't feel the same. But mostly, I will no longer buy it because it contains parabens which may be linked to breast cancer. As a recent breast cancer survivor I am very careful about the products I use on my skin.

5.0 out of 5 stars the bees knees, November 28, 2011
This review is from: Udderly Smooth Udder Cream, Skin Moisturizer, 12 Ounce Jar (Health and Beauty)
Wonderful stuff! I work with plaster in a very arid climate 8 hrs a day 5/6 days a week. My hands crack at the cuticles, very badly, every winter. I tried bag balm but it was like applying vaseline, very greasy and completely unrealistic to use before bed. This stuff works in easily and leaves a dry finish. Highly recommend. I ONLY PAID $5.00 at A&A trading post!! which is pretty much just a local Ace Hardware. I'm convinced its the same as many high priced "working man's hands" type cream ie. rockler stuff. More of a wax finish than a petroleum based finish. Instant relief after first application.

upadate: It takes several applications a day (stuff wears out fast) but after a couple days your good. seems to make my fingernails grow like a weed. still good stuff but you need to use it a lot until your healed.

I work with wood a lot; it tends to dry and crack my the ends of fingers in particular. If I apply this to the cracked skin in the evening, it is healed by the morning. I'm sure that other parts of your anatomy will benefit greatly from this product; it is not oily, has a pleasant fragrance and lasts a long time.

5.0 out of 5 stars I have just found my whole new body moisturizing system!!!!!!, February 28, 2011
This review is from: Udderly Smooth Udder Cream, Skin Moisturizer, 12 Ounce Jar (Health and Beauty)
A coworker turned me onto the cream in the tube. I tried hers and was absolutely amazed at how it made my hands feel, so much so that I went to Ride Aid immediately and bought myself a tube. I've used it over the course of 1 weekend so far and realized two things: 1. It has made a difference in my skin already and 2. I cannot be without this stuff. So now, the tube that I just bought gets toted around with me everywhere in my purse. My hands are so grateful :)

The only thing is, my Rite Aid only carried a few of these and I am going to invest in the whole line. I am really wanting to try the foot cream with the shea butter.

I also wanted to tell the person who reviewed this item stating that it was a waste of money that I think they are crazy because I can feel this lotion on my hands for a couple of hours after I've applied it. It does not in any way feel like water. It feels like a protective coating around your hands and the first time you put your hands in water after applying it, even hours later you will feel it "washing off". It is not greasy whatsoever - it just feels GOOOOOOOOD.

Please try it for yourself. I have severe dry skin and this is the first thing that I've tried that really helps!
