The Ultimate UFO Guide for the Discerning Reader,
By Amber Lyloft (Wisbech, UK) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Ufo Revelation: The Secret Technology Exposed? (Paperback)
It's about time that this book graced our bookcases - every home should have one (or more - give one to a nice friend)! Tim Matthews - what a writer, what a researcher. His omnipotent theorizing gives rise to the completion of this, the ultimate millennial Ufological hypothesis, flying triangles a-plenty with a superb conjecturalizational analysis of disk shaped aircraft. What more could anyone want? The informative literature contained within these pages makes this the most convincing literary companion for those who reject the extraterrestrial hypothesis that has been in such abominable proliferation in recent living memory. If you believed in extraterrestrial colonization of adjacent galactic clusters, then give Mr Matthews a try - and I'm confident that your views will be changed forever. Well done Tim, and whencan we expect to see Volume 2?

Five years on it's still a fab read,
By Grant W "Grant" (Salisbury, UK) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Ufo Revelation: The Secret Technology Exposed? (Paperback)
It's five long years since I read this book and it is so relevant today especially as Ufology has gone back into its shell and still exists along the same old, same old lines. Although Matthews came in for a lot of criticism, largely as a result of having been briefly involved in right-wing politics (12-15 years ago it might be said) his findings, that some UFOs are of terrestrial military origin, have been borne out by studies conducted by the US National Institute for Discovery Science. Database findings show that he is right to suggest that some UFOs emanate from military facilities and are not "aliens visting the military" as the nuts would have us believe.......It seems that Matthews is out of Ufology in 2004 but this book is hard to get and the publishers tell me that the tome sold out within a year, which is more than can be said for most UFO style material. So if you get a chance to purchase the volume via this site I strongly suggest you do so and see why Matthews was so feared within Ufology. Because he was right. I now know it having re-read his book.

The sections of flying triangle UFOs are really convincing!,
By Zena Dervish (Derbyshire, UK.) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Ufo Revelation: The Secret Technology Exposed? (Paperback)
For many years the UFO research people have been very one-sidedly writing off the possibility that reportsd of large triangular aircraft occasionally seen at low altitude are of military origin. They have argued that these reports are proof of alien visitation. Author Tim Matthews, indeed a controversial researcher, has taken on this lobby head on and shown, to the satisfaction of a growing number, that these craft and others like them are man-made secret or 'test' craft. There is plenty of good, hard evidence here by which I became convinced. Perhaps I should have realized this for myself, but the book convinced me. It is all there; the references, the clear-headed arguments, an historical perspective probably unknown to the adherents of the alien theory. I can't help thinking that Tim Matthews will be around for a long time, although his research goes against the grain, as it were. Given what I have read and heard, I look forward to a sequel and ponder as to whether any publishers have the guts to print UFO Revelation Update. I know I'd buy it!

UFOlogy's Wake Up Call,
By A Customer
This review is from: Ufo Revelation: The Secret Technology Exposed? (Paperback)
In UFO Revelations, Matthews approaches the subject with commendable objectivity. In suggesting an Earthly explanation for >some< UFO sightings, he is sure to upset the ET crowd, some of whom are fixated with ad hominem attacks against him. He's certainly a controversial figure to some of the people who make a lot of money out of promoting the ETH or who need to believe in it as a new religion.IMHO, his book opens up UFOlogy to many people like me who aren't prepared to dismiss the entire subject as BS, but find the notion of ETs and Time Travellers etc. too far fetched. It's been suggested by an anonymous reviewer (who clearly hasn't read it,) that UFO Revelations is a pro-Nazi book. I defy anyone with the power of rational thought to come to any such conclusion. Of course Nazi Germany is mentioned briefly because some of the research into these unconventional aircraft involves scientists and engineers who worked there at that time ! I took it only a geographical and historical reference point, in the same way as I took the way the research moved to Canada and the US in the aftermath of WWII. He back up his beliefs with references, official documents and interviews in the way that any serious researcher would, and makes a strong case that more work needs to be done in this difficult area. With the same old writers churning out the same old stuff to the same old readers, the study of UFOs needed a wake up call and this is it.

The best book on man-made UFO yet,
By A Customer
This review is from: Ufo Revelation: The Secret Technology Exposed? (Paperback)
I had held back for six months; should I buy it or not? I readthe reviews and couldn't decide. Perhaps I was influenced by the liarsin the anti-Matthews camp; the fantasists, the ETHers, the disinformers. But then I decided to buy it, to read it, to inwardly digest it. And I was surprised beyond belief when I looked at all the references, the first-class writing and arguments that prove to me at least that some, and that's all he's saying, of the classic cases are secret technology in action. No wonder the UFO lobby is concerned. No wonder they won't debate him. No wonder they're scared or pretending the book was never written. UFO Revelation is a revelation, and I suggest you buy it whilst you still have a chance.........

Interesting...but...,
This review is from: Ufo Revelation: The Secret Technology Exposed? (Paperback)
A fairly interesting book in its own right. However, Tim Matthews has obviously become a victim of a syndrome. Many UFO investigators who believe UFOs are of extraterrestrial origin fall into the trap. They end up victims of the "I Want to Believe" syndrome. Once ensnared many UFO investigators see alien UFOs everywhere. Unfortunately, Tim Matthews has become so immersed in the possible military origin of UFOs, he's fallen into the opposite trap, the "I Want To Disbelieve" syndrome. The "key" is to stay in the middle ground with a totally open mind and not be swayed one way or the other. It also has to be mentioned that most info in this book is common knowledge to anyone already involved in ufology.

Surprisingly well-written and important volume,
By A Customer
This review is from: Ufo Revelation: The Secret Technology Exposed? (Paperback)
This is a surprisingly well-written, well-documented and important book. Having read some of the reviews here I was expecting the worse but was pleasantly surprised to discover that - beyond the misleading claims of his detractors - Matthews has done a great job in exposing the alien mythology that haunts the UFO-world AND in providing first-class evidence for the REALITY of man-made technologies.I certainly feel that 'UFO Revelation' is worth buying, reading and supporting. Forget the smears - this is perhaps the most important UFO book for years!

A bolt from the blue,
By A Customer
This review is from: Ufo Revelation: The Secret Technology Exposed? (Paperback)
I've heard alot about the book and even more about the author and you know, when somebody gets attacked I just have to read what they have to say - for myself! Revelation is well-written, copiously referenced, enjoyable, sometimes amusing and altogether a fascinating book. Is there another book like it within the UFO literature? I doubt it. This should be a standard for all those interested in the claims of the alien technologists, Roswologists and extra-terrestrialists whose bandwagon has little to do with the facts. Tim Matthews deserves a medal for taking on the UFO lobby head on. No wonder they try and pretend he doesn't exist. I'd seriously recommend this to anyone interested in what the military is up to.

Much-needed addition to UFO literature,
By A Customer
This review is from: Ufo Revelation: The Secret Technology Exposed? (Paperback)
This surprisingly well-written and insightful offering goes against the grain. No little silver-uniformed aliens clinging to boxes in the New Mexico desert but instead a much more realistic and objective effort based on known facts. Couldn't put it down and am looking forward to a follow-up. No doubt the UFO bigwigs will look upon Matthews' book with horror, probably because he sails a little too close to the breeze and uncovers a little too much for their comfort. Meanwhile the public will no doubt find this to be a sword of truth in a world of so many falsehoods.

Really good stuff.,

This review is from: Ufo Revelation: The Secret Technology Exposed? (Paperback)
Got this via amazon and was really impressed; not only by the obvious depth of knowledge but by the refreshing insights on the relationships between UFOs, Ufology, Secret Technologies and government attitudes to them. I have not come across a collection of such relevant material within the UFO field of study in a decade. Go buy it.
