If watching and discussing the episodes over and over again is never enough, this GORGEOUS boxed volume will take you to a new level of Betty-Bliss that you've never before experienced.

You'll be taken behind the scenes to find out everything you ever wanted to know about Betty's clothes, her house, her shoes, her co-workers,her wonderful glasses, the goings-on at Mode and much, much more.

Betty fans, you'll feel like you've jumped through the TV screen and got up-close-and-personal with all the characters, both good and evil! (But, of course, sometimes evil can be just soooo good!)

So, why are you wasting time reading this review when you could be reading the book? You know you've got to have it!

After watching the first half of the first season, I was kind of hooked on this show. I have to admit that I bought this book rather impulsively, but was not disappointed. On the contrary, I was surprised at how much data there is in this book.

The book is laid out like a fashion magazine. It is soft covered, but in a hard case.

The content really reminded me of a package of extras that you would get when you ordered a DVD, but at levels much higher than you could get on a DVD. There are tons and tons of photos, bios of the entire cast, comments by the cast about the show and their personal information (of both themselves and the characters that they play on the show).

As someone who has not seen the entire first season, there are some spoilers that you may not want to read until you have watched the second season. But, still, that is nothing too bad. I was happy to note some of the characters that I haven't seen yet in the show.

The price considering the quality of the book and the information, including photos, is a bargain.

"Ugly Betty: The Book" is one of the most beautiful, professional tributes to a TV show committed to paper in the last few years.

This is a gorgeous volume that is cleverly packaged. A high-quality, thick carboard "shell" features a stunning image of Betty playfully tossing flower petals into the air in the middle of NYC. The back of the case has Betty front and center, with 6 cast members on either side of her, everyone from Ignacio to Bradford Meade.

Inside the slipcover is a very high-quality glossy softcover book measuring approximately 8x11 inches that is presented in magazine format like an actual issue of MODE with columns, articles, etc.

A big headshot of Betty appears on the cover and inside are hundreds of color photos. Each cast member has at least one beautiful full-page photo (The fabulous Judith Light looks especially AMAZING in hers) to accompany their character profile.

There is an episode guide at the back for the show's first two seasons (this book hit stores in Spring 2008).

This is a Must-Have for fans of the show. If you are looking for a piece of Betty memorabilia aside from the DVD sets, buy this right now! You will not be disappointed.

Fans of this, already-sorely-missed series, will find this book great fun and a wonderful keepsake. Apparently written after just the first season, the articles seem somewhat premature since there was so much character change and growth. It's cleverly produced as an issue of Mode Magazine. Feature stories about the key characters, backgrounders on the origins of the series, and "insider" and advice type articles, are fun, informative and well written. I loved the series and my wife was an even bigger fan. This book was so much fun, we "fought" over it until we savored every word and picture. Highly recommended!

I miss Ugly Betty! This book is perfect for any Ugly Betty fan. I enjoyed that it looked like a Mode magazine issue, and seeing all the different characters, some of whom I had forgotten about, along with different quotes was great!

This little book is full of fun information! I love Ugly Betty and this is a delight to peruse and get a bit of insight into all aspects of this production.

OMGosh - I just found this book yesterday at my local Dollar Tree Store. What a deal!!! The book is a must-have for any Ugly Betty fan out there.

I love this book cause is like you have a MODE ISSUE, with Betty on the front page. It talks about every character, the serie, the places....

If u are a Betty's addict, you have to buy it!

This book is truly amazing. It's an issue of MODE featuring stories about the characters and show. I will be ordering another one for myself.
