My granddaughter fell in love with another Ugly Doll, but Chuckanucka was a close second. I got her both of them, so she could play with a visiting friend. In practice, her six year old brother also plays with her, with Chuckanucka being "his". I love that these ugly little guys are so lovable! What a great message that is, compared with the oh-so-perfect-looking typical dolls. And not too 'girly' for boys to enjoy, too. Actually, they're so appealing you'll probably find yourself squeezing these guys yourself.

I got this little guy for a friend of mine. He loved it.
It "lives" in his car in the front passenger seat (belted in, of course!)

I love my ugly doll so much. It is great for kids, but even better for adults who have half a brain to get the humor in this doll. It is worth the price, which is ever so cheap, and can be used as a toy or a piece of artwork or just as a conversation piece. A great holiday gift, housewarming gift, or just an indulgent toy for yourself. Love it.

My husband received one of these in his goody bag from a golf tournament. Our then 5 yr old son immediately scooped him up. Chuckanucka is very soft and fuzzy and for some reason, people just want to touch him. It is like you can't help yourself. Our son asked what he was and we said an Ugly Doll. He became very protective and informed us that Chuckanucka wasn't ugly and why were we being mean. Our son (8 now)still has him several years later. Chuck... is usually on a shelf now, but occasionally does double duty as a travel pillow. Chuckanucka is durable, touchable, and loveable.

These are cute, pretty well made but definitely overpriced. They are overpriced pretty much everywhere, though.
They are so goofy and funny, my kids get a charge out of them. So I guess that's worth it. It would be nice if they cost less.

I purchased this Ugly Doll as a Christmas gift for my 5 yr old daughter. She thinks it's fun, and likes his "Goofy" expresssion. The Ugly Dolls are made with a fleece type fabric, are soft filled making them super nice to hug, or even use as a pillow during a long car trip. My older "tween" also loves the Ugly Dolls, and enjoys collecting them. Good gift for ALL ages. Everyone needs love...even an UGLY DOLL. Ugly Dolls so ugly..they're CUTE!!
