Well-described narration as only outstanding dramatic actress like Cher can contribute,with her soulful & sorrowful overtones, the elation and wonder of the animated,marvelous transformation of an ugly duck to a swan. Cartoon w/her soothing voice especially captures the delight of children of all ages in this classic Hans Christian Anderson. Even though Cher never appears, her presence is throughout. One can experience the miserable but patient beginning; And then thrill at make way for duckling's coming of age--a useful psychological tool for kids experiencing extremes in appearance or life changes and for people familiar with struggles & triumphs of any kind. Encouraging, relaxing video told with amazing gentleness, calm sense of purpose & quiet acknowledgment of one's fate.
