Something to add to your collection if you're craving some LOA, March 7, 2008

After enjoying the classic River Runs Red when I first listened to it a few years ago, I was a bit apprehensive about getting the albums that came after it considering how that they more commercial. I know what you're saying, it doesn't really make it good or bad. The breakdowns, heavy thrashy hardcore drumming, heavy guitar riffs, vocals that at times sounded like Peter Steele, what River Runs Red had was dropped in favor of the more current sound. River Runs Red to me was what it sounded like if Pantera and Type o Negative jammed together. However, I gave Ugly and Soul Searching Sun a shot. They're worth getting if you're left craving more from these guys.
Check out Life Of Agony's first album River Runs Red. It'll be reissued on April 29. It'll include the full album remastered with bonus tracks, and a bonus dvd.
