People...this is what is called a Movie score. Everyone is rating it low because they are too dumb to actually look at the track listing to see what they are getting. 9 people have rated this so far and every one of them gave it 1 star because it is not the SONGS heard in the movie...THAT IS NOT RATING WHAT THE PRODUCT IS!!!! THAT is called rating based on what you WANTED it to be. I got this because I KNEW what I was getting...the Score...and it is very enjoyable.

I understand that this album is the Score, and not the Soundtrack. This is not a case of confusion on my part.

However, this CD is **listed** as a SOUNDTRACK. It is *not* listed as a score. Therefore, if they are calling it a soundtrack, it should be the soundtrack.

That's why I am only rating it one star. If they wanted to sell the soundtrack, don't pull a bait and switch and sell the score under a soundtrack label.

Thought this was actual soundtrack with songs, etc. but only the short musical blurbs. Misreprepresentation in my opinion. Doesn't do the movie justice

This soundtrack totally sucked, they did not use the music from the
movie and so this makes this cd a total waste of time and money.

I agree, you should rate it for what it is, I would call this false advertising, if you list it as a movie soundtrack than that is what it should be instead of a movie score......advertise and title it as it is, not what people think they are buying, then they could actually get it right, instead of wasting precious money in this day and age on something they really don't want!!

I too came looking for the popular music tracks rather than the score. The music from different performers is what struck me through the film, not the score (sorry Mr. Zigman). I don't know what it is that prevents publishers from putting out a double CD, one with the score and one with the individually performed tracks. And on occasion I have seen them publish an incomplete soundtrack so the tracks one really wanted are not even included on the CD. There may be copyright or money issues as to why publishers do it. But it puts listeners off who then turn to internet downloads. Anyhow I am not chasing either the score or tracks by the individual artistes. But if the CD I came looking for had been available I would have checked the tracks out and bought the ones I wanted. It beats me why the official music industry chooses to ignore this fact. Maybe they are "chasing the dragon" and want those days back when most of us would line up to buy a CD on Tuesdays at a local store and then rush home to listen to it. We now buy the exact tracks we want.

And to those reviewers who think that the low ratings here are not based on the published score but rather listeners' disappointment they did not find what they were looking for. I am with them. Basically this is a thumbs-down for not publishing the individually performed tracks rather than a low rating for the score.

I didn't know that they don't include all the music from movies anymore...Like all the songs by hip new artists. So this only has the 'soundtrack' that the movie co did....not the other music.
