This is a great little board book.
Great format, good quality cardboard pages with nice colorful impression. It's silly without being stupid; quite educational too with big, easy to recognize font. Baby is very attracted to the images (just like she is to the dolls) and we are really enjoying reading this book over and over. She is only 4 months but already has preferences! And anything Uglydoll has been a hit so far. She will completely ignore some very cute books and toys but always put her arms out for Uglydoll!!! I think there are going to be a lot of Uglydoll stuff in our house before long. We also have the board book about alphabet and it's equally great. I should have ordered the one about colors at the same time because it's definitely next on our list!

I love the creative nature of this great board book. Unique illustrations and unique storyline (especially for a counting book!) I would recommend it to any toddler, and it would make a great gift!

Ugly book series,

I purchased the three Uglydoll books because they are promoted for infants through preschoolers. However, I returned them because although the illustrations are charmingly silly, the text is definitely more sophisticated than infants/preschoolers will comprehend. Adults can certainly understand the humor therein, but very young children cannot.
