I read this to my infant and, I can't speak for her yet, but I enjoy it every time. The rhyming words lend a wonderful cadence to the reader's voice that I think she will appreciate. I like the lesson in the book as well. Calico certainly sounds like quite a handful.

My daughter loves the Calico books and this one is fun and teaches it is OK to make mistakes.

We love all the Calico books! The paintings are beautiful- much better to look at than computer illustrations. We love the rhymes and have been reading it for a couple of years.

We bought the Calico books because we have a Calico cat (who we call Calico - original, aren't we?) One of our daughter's first words was "Calico" so when I found these books, I had to get them.

I loved them right away, actually received them at work and read them aloud to my co-workers. I really enjoy children's books that rhyme, and these books are no exception. They are so fun to read, and the words are simple enough that even the littlest kids pick up on the words right away.

My son loves the Calico series. The first book is the best, but this ones rhymes are all right too, and it has a great message of being loved even if you aren't perfect (or, here, graceful). The colorful drawings are beautiful, bright and full page. My baby loves looking at them and pointing to different elements in them.

A mother's unconditional love for her accident-prone child is evident in the rhyming text. My 2 yr old daughter loves it!
